I've noticed I haven't been getting emails from RateSetter since 4th of February, I should have received the February monthly statement in the last few days and I believe there was also an email about T&C changes recently. Has anyone else not received these?
I haven't touched my contact preferences, or made any changes to my email account, the contact preferences are confusingly described though.
I have 'Yes' ticked for everything, but above the box it says 'If you do NOT want us to keep you updated with news and offers about RateSetter products and services, please click to confirm opt-out.', so does that 'Yes' mean 'Yes, please send me emails' or 'Yes, I confirm I do NOT want to receive emails'?

It seems that "yes" means yes - please send. My email and marketing settings are both set to yes and I do receive marketing emails.
I agree that the wording is very confusing as it implies the opposite.

Thanks, I'll chase it up with them on Monday as looking at my mail history I usually get a half dozen emails a month from them, so something has gone wrong.

They use one of the mailing houses which quietly delete you from the send list if you have some number of delivery failures, iirc. RS should be able to look at the dropped addresses list and fix it, if that is the case, but they don't check as a matter of course.

Well, nine months later and a couple of half-hearted attempts from RateSetter, they still can't fix this problem.
I see today that I've totally missed information about the changes to investment stuff, the FCA stuff, e.t.c. so I've sent them an angry email and put all my lending to switch to holding.
I'll close my account as soon as I can. It's beyond belief that they can't fix a simple problem like me not receiving emails.

I also had a problem not receiving any emails from RS which they couldn't resolve. Not sure they really tried, I ended up using my work email address instead which does work. Very odd seeing as I've never had (or noticed) this issue with anyone else!

It's quite interesting that Mrs Aju and myself both have the same settings but she gets "Your order has been matched" emails and I don't! (we both had an order matched in the last few days.)

Very odd seeing as I've never had (or noticed) this issue with anyone else! Have you checked your filter and spam / junk folders? Here's a list of emails I received in December: - "your order has been matched" (received occasionally, email sent on 2nd Dec was my last one & my last match was 14th Dec) - "your November statement" - "A milestone for P2P investing" - "Investor Terms - notice of changes" - "Your Rate setter transfer request has been..."

Not in my case I check junk every few days but usually just has cwap in. I checked filters months ago as well and only have the ones that I expect (my main one is an overrider that essentially looks for email not actually addressed to me directly.) I checked all the above but many i'm not sure you can actually turn off anyway.

I've received none of those, literally not had any emails since February, except from support. Tried changing to a variety of addresses with no luck.

Until today, the only emails I have received from RS for quite some time are the monthly statements and "we have received your funds". A few days ago I received duplicates of the latter for ones received 8 and 10 days previously!
Today I received 'Matched Order' emails relating to Access but cannot remember when I last received same for the 1yr market, even though I have still been regularly lending in that market.

I get matched emails for all markets except 5 year - where you stand as much chance of matching as Clarkson snogging Greta T..

Two more Access orders mopped up during the weekend but not a single email received.
I feel this issue along with its inconsistencies warrants some urgent investigation and attention RateSetter!

Is this potentially a regulator issue but I wonder if RS really gives a monkeys about any of this stuff as it seems it may not be in their interest. That said if there are a lot of people like me that set their rates high to prevent unacceptable rates being scooped up then they could be losing quite a bit of throughput. There does seem to be some sort of problem with emails thought in general as Mrs Aju seems to get different emails to me and vice versa even though we are doing similar things in our accounts. I know they are similar because I tell her what to do on a daily basis when funds are returned.
