Loan take-up picking up now (10% gone despite the lack of lenders' free funds &/or preference to buy on the AM). After what we've seen on the AM last few days following the redemption of SM*ncs, I reckon this loan (& at least a good portion of BMLT2 & P** windie to name just 2 more) will disappear mighty zippily when H***ney BL redeems next week. Last week there were a lot of other BL's into which lenders could recycle, there are none now. An interesting week ahead. Considering how small this loan request is, managing to get to 11% funded after being available for a week does not strike me as impressive -- or at least not impressive positively. It's quite likely that the sub-10% interest rates on four of the five current auctions isn't helping, nor the high LTV on the fifth auction. Yes, it will be interesting to see what happens when £2.2M of Hackney proceeds arrive in lenders' accounts. Will most of that flow into available investments at lower rates? Or will most of that flow out of AC? Also, what will be the effect of the new AC system on the flow of new investments in the near term? Unless AC have been working on a number of new opportunities in the background that that they haven't told us about, the switch from offering opportunities that are one or two months away from drawdown to waiting until drawdown before offering them might be expected to produce a one or two month lull in new opportunities. There's certainly not a lot new on the the list of Upcoming Investments at the moment.

There's certainly not a lot new on the the list of Upcoming Investments at the moment. When I first looked at the details of this loan I found it extraordinary that a business would be economic when it had such low numbers of 'client' and that the loss of placement of one or two children could seriously affect the business (let alone the kids themselves). It's probably nothing but the numbers 131 and 128 have not been used, they were just skipped over when AC were numbering loans. Those numbers could've been used around the time of Hackney and Ippy et al were getting their extension but they weren't used. I'm fairly sure all other numbers, recently, have been used in some way or other. So just perhaps then there might be two new loans/proposals in the pipeline on Monday or when the New Site kicks. Having said that a few months back there was nothing at all anywhere, a complete drought. So we are spoilt for choice, if perhaps at a lower rate.

Or will most of that flow out of AC? Mine's gone already. Nothing on the books to keep it there.

It's probably nothing but the numbers 131 and 128 have not been used, they were just skipped over when AC were numbering loans. Whether these numbers suggest loans in the pipeline may depend a lot on when AC assign a number to a loan possibility. If it happens early in the process, missing numbers might simply be an indication of a prospect that fell by the wayside.

And no loans to park it in while waiting for better prospects to come along, because there's so much for sale that someone who buys in now could have difficultly getting out when they'd like. chielamangus: Might I be so curious to ask where your money might have headed? Where do you judge are the opportunities better than at AC?

If it happens early in the process, missing numbers might simply be an indication of a prospect that fell by the wayside. It can be either. There will occasionally be loans that make it as far as the website pipeline that then fall away, or the operators can on rare occasion cause an error with incorrect data that isn't caught by the admin site validation rules but is detected and blocked by the database. In that instance due to the way the database works a number will be skipped.

Where do you judge are the opportunities better than at AC? I have no great insights. The money would have been in the holding account earning zero per cent so for the short term it can be parked over a few other sites earning rather more. Also, it can be parked for the longer term as with about 600 different loans repaying something every month, long term money is constantly being turned into short term. If AC can come up with something I like, then the flow can quickly be reversed. As you say, I don't want to get locked into AC loans where exit before maturity is likely to be difficult.

There's about £10k available on this one, tried to buy a bit for last 2 days but none bought (before you ask, I have double-checked all my targets, settings, etc). Appreciate there's a note that a covenant has been broken but there's no sign to say investments paused. I'm personally quite comfortable on this one & will happily buy more as the security is solid (imho). So, why am I unable to buy any?

Assume its not another where theyve suspended it a different way which apparently doesnt put the flags up? Happened once before when a payment got accidently credited early #123
