Perhaps all that's needed is for the Accrued Interest column actually to show accrued interest. The standard definition of AI is interest that has been earned but not yet paid. When a loan goes live and interest to that date is paid, there is no more accrued interest at that time. And similarly, when interest is paid at the end of each month, that amount no longer is 'accrued' so the AI again should be nil. Just to be nitpicky, and in case any new lenders are slightly misled, when a loan goes live, for those people who have elected to receive interest monthly, the interest isn't paid to date - it is paid up till the end of the latest month. So there would be some accured interest for the current month, unless it went live on the last day of the month, of course. ramblin rose: Thanks for the correction. I either hadn't realised that was the case, or I had forgotten. I will adjust my expectations for the interest to be received from the loans that are supposed to be going live this week. I wonder how many of those actually will happen and how many will be deferred for another week. Perhaps savingstream would care to let us know their current expectations. Or perhaps we'll just have to wait for tomorrow's weekly update.

If I access the provision fund information from the Account menu when logged in, there doesn't seem to be a way of getting back to the main logged in menu other than by using the browser back button or the 'login' option at the bottom or top right hand corners of the page. This is similar to the 'Contact us' issue and seems a bit counter-intuitive - savingstream any chance of adding a 'back' button or main menu option on that page?

I just tried and when I pull up the details on the 'Provision Fund', I stll have full access to return direct to any part of my personal page. Funny thing is, if I had not read your post, I would not have realissed there was any access to information about the 'Provision Fund'. After reading various posts on this forum, I had come to the conclusion there was no provision fund as yet. And that other investors had taken this as a reason to withdraw funds to place else where.. Maybe savingstream should draw all investors attention to it's existance

duncandive you were correct in your conclusion up to about 2 hours ago. p2pindependentforum.com/post/35213 Sure there will be more publicity for it once the trust has been established too.

Yes, seems to have been very speedily fixed - glad I wasn't the only one who noticed .

I hadn't been aware of this new page on the website until it was mentioned here. Having looked at it, I have a question. In the example they give, it says... With £244k in the PF, I think I can work out where three of the four percentage numbers came from. But how did savingstream come up with the 67% number in the Without PF case? Any suggestions?

Good spot, 67% was a typo and should have read 63% which is the current loan size as compared to the OMV value of the security (LTV). Many thanks for pointing out.

suggestion for dashboard - live loan tab.
savingstream it would be very helpful if you could enhance this tab so that we could choose to sort on any of the columns headers. Quite common on web sites (including other p2p2) and would allow different users to operate the way that suited them best. There have been requests in the past for different sort orders from different users. This keeps everybody happy.
It would also be helpful if you could add a flag on this screen to indicate if each loan part was sellable or not i.e. whether it we had selected upfront interest or monthly.

It isn't actually easy to workout your actual return on investment on savingstream. While it is stated on the dashboard it is 12% the SS is doing itself an injustice as most have cashback and there is often the option to get the interest up front. Both of which can then be reinvested improving your overall return.
The main difficulty is that interest which has been paid is obviously included in the account balance but there is no easy way to get a figure for the interest which has been accrued but not yet paid. On the live loan parts screen it only shows the total interest due some of which is paid and some of which is not yet paid.
savingstream it would be useful if you could add another column onto the live loan parts screen to show the accrued interest not yet paid and total this at the bottom.
It would also be very helpful if you could allow the live loan parts screen to be exported to Excel in the same way as the transaction statement. Many other p2p sites have this feature already. Hi savingstream what are your thoughts on this ? Is it something you are planning to do or not?

A request for the extra column has been made before here last July. This would be really, really helpful savingstream so another nudge will do no harm. 'Copy and paste' works in MS Works...should work in Excel?
