^ The High Court was shut in the afternoon due to a 'building fault' so I don't know if the hearing went ahead.
The borrow is in a County Court for a 3-hour application hearing against a loan company tomorrow.

🤬
It’s frustrating this story of the law gets epic and broken. 3 years and counting, not a single penny yet because our “legal” system.

Well, I have cashed out the platform in practice. I think I was unfortunate to have the lowest XIRR for Unbolted reported for this forum, 2.06% due to early exit in 2020.
My 8 provision trust loans remain overdue after 3 years and I am still awaiting like many. So, I have decided to treat them as bad loans for my own record and it would be a dream they will get recovered before the 5 years anniversary.

I think for all platforms if you have long term bad debt it's best (for your own life) to write it off yourself and be happy if they eventually repay, and if they don't the pain is in the past.

I started investing in 2017 and stopped at the end of 2018 and withdrew all that I could in 2019, like you I have 10 loans outstanding since 2018 and assuming no return on these my XIRR is 3.25%.

Unbolted have unrecovered loans dating back 3 to 4 years ? Didn't know that. Why haven't the assets been sold ?

I have 9 loans from 2018, all to the vexatious litigant.

I forgot about him as it has been quiet recently, didn't realize he had so many unpaid loans. It takes gall or stupidity to borrow money from anywhere and use the courts to avoid repayment.
The stats suggest no capital losses so far but a small amount of interest losses. I was a bit surprised I had so many defaulted loans as far back as a year old. The whole paltform has 76 defaults out of 545 active loans.

Any news of when this is likely to be settled as I have 18 defaulted loans to this chancer from way back in 2018. How many years do we have to wait for this mess surly it cant be right taken all this time to work who is at fault.
