there is only 14k underwritten on the cwt loan at present. I cannot recall of this was so a drawdown or if it has all been sold. I think you may have misplaced a decimal. The horseshoe chart shows 0.76% of this loan is held by underwriters, and that's just £1400.

I'd guess that the underwriter(s) have to put it on the Aftermarket manually, so perhaps it'll appear in due course. It's a relatively small loan. According to the horseshoe chart, the underwriters' holding is down to less than 1% of the total, so there won't be much coming tothe Aftermarket from that source. Does anyone know roughly how much of the total funding was from underwriters when the auction closed? I think there was more than £50,000 , I bought some on the 8 Oct at 1pm

Looking at the bid list gives a figure of nearly £111k of 'blank name' large bids, which fits with my memory of about 40% user bids. Pesky u/w's are holding onto it, it seems.

That's about right my note on cwt says 76k(41.25%) of user bids, so u/wers must've had 109k rounded to the nearest k.

Did the underwriters decide to become investors and keep their units long term? Or did those units appear on the Aftermarket about the time of the South Manchester repayment and disappear via AI as soon as it was offered? johnny: Did you have an AI mandate set to buy this loan? If so, have you had sufficient cash available in your account since the loan drew down on Tuesday that AI would have been able to act for you if some units had come onto the Aftermarket?

Early Friday (10/10) morning there were £20K available on the AM. Coinciding with the release of funds from the SMBL, they went fairly quickly - I was able to get what I wanted then.

Look at the horseshoe - it's showing 100% user loan units and no underwriter loan units. It's updated periodically throughout the day to reflect how the loan units have sold.

So is it impossible for an underwriter to change his status while in a loan? Can he ask AC, perhaps, to convert his holding in a particular loan from u/wer to retail?

It would be relatively easy for me but a bit of a faff for the admin team as there isn't a specific tool for doing so.

The loan was available on the AM on the 8/10 and I picked up a £100, about 50% or so was still underwritten. I didn't set up AI as the loan was available. I just find it interesting. it was my error for not buying all at once.

Sorry everyone, I guess I was largely responsible for this. I saw it was coming up in a few days, freed a lot of funds by selling other stuff and then was allocated a large proportion of this via AI (I went for all that the underwriters were going to sell, but lots more appeared, so I don't know the true story here).
I really think we need the new site up and running. I messed up quite badly with this one and it was compounded by a bug in AI that I've reported. Hopefully the new site will let us cancel our requests to buy and sell - if not then AC will find that the new site won't work for them and that'll be embarrassing for all.

Can I ask if the bug you encountered was the one where you looked a loan A exited the page then went to Loan B entered the amount you want only to find that you bought some of A plus B? As the Buy page on the AM in fact had a mixed of two Loans on it as below, On this page there are two different Wind Farms.
