Just Life if we all kept our promises there would be no divorce as Uk currently has 43% rate then probably more than 60% of population don't keep their promises
as not just married people lie. Why should we expect anything more from anyone in public office they are human after all..
A very good analogy. Do you think the leave voters will divorce the leave politicians any time soon? I do hope so. Yes, but they've made amends with new promises now, mainly revolving around adequate food and the continued supply of drinking water. How can one not just fall in love with them all over again?

Oh I have so missed this thread and all who sail in her. The current state of affairs seems to me to be 1) The Len MaClusky party is a total write off 2) The Lib Dems are choosing between two mediocrities for a leader, while 3) The Tory candidates message can be summed up as follows:- "YES IT IS CLEAR THAT THE AEROPLANE HAS ONLY GOT ONE WING BUT YOU VOTED TO GO IN IT SO WE HAVE LOCKED THE DOORS AND WE ARE GOING TO TRY TO TAKE OFF.BECAUSE OUR AIRLINE WILL GO BUST IF WE DO NOT GET THIS PLANE IN THE AIR" And thus, for a few seconds before the crash, we "take back control". I hope it was worth it.

May I recommend this blog:- eureferendum.com/The author is a life long leave proponent who has written books such as "The Castle of Lies: Why Britain Must get Out of Europe (1996)" with Christopher Booker. He is too intelligent to accept anything unfactual or dishonest, and his recent posts are a revelation of the lack of reality and indeed outright lying surrounding the Sanka Singham report from the so called "Alternative Arrangements Commission". Worth a read to engage with a logical mind who agrees with the aim but is prepared to call a liar a liar.

Worth a read to engage with a logical mind who agrees with the aim but is disgusted by the dishonesty of the fellow travellers. An interesting blog, thanks. I can respect someone who at least wants to deal with the facts, even if I don't agree with his conclusions. A rarity indeed. It's otherwise tempting though at the moment to largely put my head under the pillow and pretend this isn't happening. I can just feel my blood pressure rising as you read for the millionth time the repeated lies our politicians seem so happy to espouse whilst Corbyn makes his 10,000 mile journey at about 1 step per week towards choosing a side of the fence.

Well I can't see the point of Jeremy Corbyn anymore. The two candidates for Prime Minister have committed to such huge increases in public spending on everything short of paving the streets in gold that he might as well just jack it in and vote Conservative.

I'd like to second that, a very good read, so thanks for the link captainconfident.

Jeremy just needs to come out as really a Jewish, vegan, transgender, climate activist and get a good tan and he will win a general election hands down.

Poor old JC looked like a rabbit in car headlights. No more quiet PMQ for him. If he didn't have a stroke before he might have one now. Time for slippers and cup of tea let the youngsters take over. , GO BORIS AKA Alexander (The Great II)

Well I don't like high taxes like the next person but I do agree that certain things need to be collectively paid for. Policing is one of those things.

His opponents will no doubt claim this as proof he is a Sith Lord.
