Hi ablrate, update needed. Updates are much needed and long overdue on many Ablrate loans, but not forthcoming despite numerous requests.

Less than a week to go to the scheduled repayment date for this loan. ablrate , can we get an update on the borrowers plan for repayment please. This loan returning lenders their money will be a true test. I contacted ABL with this very question but didn't get a response. For what it's worth, I don't expect the loan will repay. I've lost all hope and, like other loans, fear it will be extended again and again and again over the coming years. For instance, the 'short term' 1000153 extended again today for three months, after a previous four month extension. Same with so many ABL loans that keep getting extended ad infinitum e.g. VUL*** and AC*. Many ABL loans are like the Hotel California. You can never leave them.

I'm not expecting 123 to repay on time either, but I really think that ABLrate should know by now and should make lenders aware of the situation before the repayment deadline hits (even if they're expecting it to repay on time). I hope that it will at least be put on some form of amortisation going forwards. I'm OK with the new extension to 153, though I accept that more than doubling is original term could be difficult for some lenders. Being effectively underwritten by PeaOne with a hard deadline gives me comfort. I'd love an update on the other two you mentioned if ablrate are listening, both are well overdue some info.

I pulled out of this loan after I saw the growing number of charges, one a month after the draw down of the Abl loan, another 13mths later and then the final one end of last year (all with Lloyds Bank). Quite a few fixed and floating charges along with negative pledges bandied about.

Quite a few fixed and floating charges along with negative pledges bandied about. You were a smart cookie (no pun intended). As predicted, there is now a notification from ABL that this loan won't give us our money back as per the contacts they signed. Considering they've known since the last ice age the redemption date of this loan, it is poor form from the borrower to not prepare and pay on time. Seems like ABL have been on their backs for a while (respects to ABL for that) and they have got a refinancier in hand. Let's hope CPT don't keep kicking the can down the road, as other loans often do, with one excuse after another ("the refinance didn't go through" blah blah blah) that they can't return the money they borrowed.

Interest payments still to continue till September repayment of loan. Check Repayments schedule.

Interest payments still to continue till September repayment of loan. Check Repayments schedule. But that was before ABL went into wind down. My guess is that a number of borrowers may become less bothered about interest payments now that they see ABL as having "knocked off early". This one's always been a little unreliable as I recall, especially when due date falls on a weekend.
