have invested in personal loans ID Finance loans in KZT and am seeing a high-ish percentage late (10% after only 2 weeks). Is an ugly start and I wonder if this is to be expected. All loans have buy back guarantee so I hope ID Finance have their numbers right.

Check out the statistics page. www.mintos.com/en/available-loans/statistics/This page is updated regularly. Change the 'Loan Performance Details' to percent and look under short term loans. Presently approx 30% of ID loans are late. So you're actually doing ok with only 10%.

I wonder if currency plays a part as return in KZT is 45% higher than EUR loans.

if things go well (fingers crossed) I'm earning 17.29% according to Mintos, but with number of late payments increasing day by day. The exchange rate doesn't come into this, does it?

Testing water in KZT, now I have 6 lates out of 19 loans. Not sure if this is normal or just bad luck. My ID loans in EUR are pretty much on time, 91.5% It seems arrears is increasing compared to 1 month ago. Update:now I have 1 loan in 1-15 days late out of 19. 5 of those late borrowers make repayment 2 days after due date.
