Any buyer is not going to be a philanthropic person wanting to get lenders their money back, they will be hard nosed investors out to make a killing. quite! And quite happy to treat old investors as the collateral damage. Aside from the fact that their skills won't touch those of RSM for recovering money.

Just thought I would take it upon myself to ‘jump up’ the listing of this thread, to the top of the P2P Independent Forum listing page, for Lendy lenders. With now well over 800 registered users, one of whom is myself, I read the following grateful post from one Lendy lender, which I thought I would share on this forum board, to encourage more to join; "I know it has been said on a few occasions but reading through this, and many other threads on FB, the work you guys are putting in here is phenomenal as there are quite a few of us that really wouldn’t know where to begin in taking on such a task. I am also in a few of these loans.
I for one truly thought all was lost as only have a basic understanding into what is going on with the receivers, and didn’t know where to turn until all this was set up and so much knowledge has been pooled together.
It means so much, to so many hundreds of people, and I am always willing to do my bit to help progress things, but I just wanted to thank you guys."If you have thought about joining Lendy Action Group [LAG], BUT you have been too busy, or you have been unsure, I hope reading that post will encourage a few more disadvantaged Lendy lenders, to do so.

GOOD luck to everybody in Lendy Action Group, who are attending the meeting today. I hope the meeting goes well and some progress can be made. Have a safe journey up there and afterwards, travelling back home. You will ALL be in my thoughts today, as this is not a pleasant situation for anybody concerned, myself included. Thankfully, we now have an action group to help us all out, to pool our resources and provide thoughts for further initiatives. **UPDATE** As of 10:45am approx., Lendy Action Group now has 900 registered users.

LAG now has 980 members. Have YOU joined yet? It's chock full of useful discussion. Can you provide any useful information that may help our common cause?
It's been fairly quiet on LAG recently, very few of the 980 members seem to post on the forums, I guess they are mainly following what is going on from the sidelines.

I've been watching here, the other place and LAG. There just isn't much to be said by anyone at the moment, anywhere. Nevertheless, if you have any investments with Lendy, it would still be worth you joining.

Agreed.. not a lot that can be said over and above what the LAG can ascertain... but i for one am glad the LAG exists, at the very least its a link to some semblance of what is "Actually" happening behind closed doors...

IMHO, this web page needs to be back on the first page for the P2P lendy Forum. Hence the posting... Current registered users on Lendy Action Group, is now at 1,089.

Ditto Ditto I think we should use this thread to air our grievances, brain storming etc, ideas to recover our hard earned cash at lowest cost. I find it utterly outrageous that Lendy are potentially being credited with uncapped default interest via waterfall payment arrangement, regardless of the fact that they have failed in their capacity as our 'agent'. Apart from incurring massive losses due to overvalued LTV’s and GDV’s, it seems we are having to pay twice for the privilege of any partial recovery.

How can we find out how much of those Lendy disbursements will end up in LB's bank account?? Disgraceful!

I may be missing the point somewhere, but is that not what LAG was set up for? Given that this thread was started as a recruitment campaign for LAG, who are by self definition the standard bearers for action that would seem a better place? If the intention is simply to keep the original post visible, a simple boost post by the OP would suffice. An alternative would be this platforms Admin giving it temporary sticky status. Whilst I would never feel it appropriate to judge what is worth posting, I suspect most of us would prefer new events and clear updates to be easy to find, rather than being swamped and possibly missed.

The point is we need to keep up battle momentum; appetite seems to have faded somewhat here and on the LAG forum. I was merely trying to stoke up enthusiasm to share ideas, however naive they may appear to sophisticated investors – something may develop from it. It’s not important whether it’s this thread or another. However, there are probably many lenders who have not yet discovered this forum at all. Considering the distress Lendy have caused why complain about a posting which is trying to unite victims when there are hundreds of chat postings cluttering up the forum.
