Imo, if an admin note is of sufficient importance to cause an email to be sent All admin updates are getting email notification going forward. Nothing to do with the importance of the update. But it looks like at least someone wants to get them all, so ablrate, that email suppression preference would be appreciated by me.

Yes. Even if I have no involvement in a particular loan for which an email is generated, it may be that I hold another loan with the same borrower - or an otherwise connected loan. Then I definitely need to know. I can delete a few emails if necessary, but would prefer suppression facilities.

I'd want to know only if my loan or loan which shared borrowers or shared directors of borrowers.

I’m struggling to think of any other platform that sends update notifications to all lenders for every loan (imagine the emails that would generate as a platform scales!)

ablrate . Triggered by the latest admin note on 1000046, (which does not seem to have its own thread here) Would it be possible in future notification of requests for a settlement balance for the note to include the requested settlement date for calculating the balance. This helps us predict cash flow when loans are likely to settle early. I can't see that this information is any more sensitive that the request for settlement balance itself and so cannot be disclosed. TIA LW

Yeah, definitely too many emails, including double set for 105. Problem is there is no one place on the website to look for a view of all of them, so it's 'hunt the thimble' .. but emails telling you 'a new thimble has appeared in haystack x' is probably not the best solution.

I can see arguments for and against the emails themselves going to all registered members but what is essential is that each email has link in order to go straight to the loan in question. This link of course would have to go via the login process to retain adequate confidentiality.

The issue is Steve that the FCA are very hot on notifications... they were even not so keen on users being able to surpress emails.. but let it go, so i can see a complaint at some stage the calls us out for not sending all updates by defualt.. if you know what I mean.

With all the extra emails, would it be possible for the new UI to mark emails as read when they are viewed using the left and right arrows to slip through them? This would save me a considerable number of clicks.

ablrateJust had an email to say there is an admin note on 100046 but still with no links in the email. However, as this has now repaid it is no longer listed anywhere I can find and as the account history STILL does not have links to the loans to which entries refer, I can't use that route. Is there away to read what the note actually says??? LW

When investing into a portfolio loan, on a mobile the input box for the amount is only one character wide, so it makes it really difficult to be sure what you've typed (unless like me, you're only reinvesting 8p of interest).

We have thought about this and we are going to bring in a feature to 'Follow Loan'. So basically you can 'follow' it and 'unfollow' . One you will get the notes, if you are not following you wont.

The admin note for 100094 was added three times. Six emails received, three to ISA account and three to normal account.

Excellent - even better with an auto opt in if you hold any of the loan.
