Could the process of depositing by debit card be simplified? There's no other platform where I have to type my name, postal and e-mail address and phone number each time I make a deposit. The frame is from our third party providers. We ask for that data as part of the security check which moves liability for fraud etc onto the bank and not us. I appreciate others may not do it that way, but we have several things working in the background to make sure all payments are checked. Sorry That's fine, it's not really a big trouble to type this info (just a little inconvenience when I'm doing it on the phone), can live with this I just thought I'll ask. Thank you for clarifying.

Yebbut, it is smart enough not to remember the card number but does remember my name and address phone no etc which are pretty public. but every one to their own. LW

There used to be a problem with values being rounded up to the next full 1p (so a purchase for a value of, say, £200 would be rejected because in reality I only had £199.99 in my account) - was this ever corrected? Yes - this was rounded down. ablrate - are you sure? I just tried to buy 100119 on the SM, by happenstance the calculation came to the exact same figure as the balance showing on the account, nevertheless the following message was received 'No amount could be traded. Reason: The cost for amount invested cannot be more than your available funds'. I cancelled the transaction, subtracted 1p from the input figure and the transaction proceeded without problem.

Thanks Brian will check the logs and report back.

ablrate , fixing the lack of any notification email whenever an Admin note is added (as previously requested) is something that needs sorting immediately, not in a few months’ time. Adding new, potentially price-sensitive information to loans that are trading live on the SM, without warning all holders at the same time and/or without suspending trading for a period, lays Ablrate open to obvious potential complaints from lenders whose live bids or offers are quickly taken up as a direct consequence of the new information in the Admin note. I agree - we will have this done shortly. - the policy of pausing loans when new information comes out is now in place. Just received my first ever Ablrate "New Admin Note" notification email. Thanks for adding this!

Thanks for adding this! ablrate , a minor point but the new "Admin Note" emails all seem to have a stray "ill" inserted at the start of the subject line, eg: Subject: illA new Admin note created on 1000093
Subject: illA new Admin note created on 1000071Are these loans unwell? Also, both of my accounts were sent the notification emails shown above but only one account holds the loans (the other held them historically). Is it possible for the notification emails to be sent only to accounts with a current holding?

Thanks Steve - changed, along with a spelling error.. can't get the staff - The emails go out to everyone. We were going to restrict them to just holders, but if someone has a bid, for example, they would need to see it too... at it is for general consumption anyway. Will take a look at trying to amalgamate emails for notification.

I really don't want to be getting updates on loans I have already decided not to be a lender on, for years to come. And can I just say thanks for getting this enhancement done, it is very welcome, I no longer have to rely on others noticing there is an update and posting it on here

Logging in finding the loan, reading it and deleting the email copy on the platform 5 times has just plain worn me out. Or even a link in the email would save a bit of time.

That is something we have been discussing today, leave it with us.

We will have a look at the configuration email system and see if we can give this as an option when you configure emails ... i.e. 'just those I am investing or bidding in'... something like that ..and you are welcome

Does anyone else want emailed admin notifications on loans they do not own or have a bid on, for every admin note for every loan over the life of the loan? Personally I try and reduce the amount of 'spam' I get, but others may not care? (Poll?) If you can't go with the just owners and bidders, than an option to set it that way on a per user basis would be much appreciated.

Imo, if an admin note is of sufficient importance to cause an email to be sent, then it should be sent to all lenders who could have an interest in the loan. If it is trading on the SM then it could be of interest to any lender and I do not see how the platform can judge which admin note is of importance to which individual lender or category of lender - those who hold it, those with active offers, those with active bids, those with no current involvement. For a trading loan, if an email is generated it should go to all, and the lenders should be able to filter on some basis if they wish - probably by loan number opt out or in.
