Hi ablrate , how is the new UI progressing? Just wondering if there are any timescales? I'm game if it needs beta testing. ABLrate's UI isn't half bad as it stands, so I'm a little apprehensive given how many others seem to have made theirs worse under the guise of a beneficial update.

Hi Guys
It has been designed and is being coded now. I suspect that we will be launching end of Feb beginning of March, alongside the new secondary market.... which is basically... amazing.

The change in secondary market, is that the change of how it works to make bids and offers etc? Or a more significant change i.e. restrictions/changes to the freedom of buying/selling we have now?

I am expecting more automated matches/trades and more options in placing bids and offers. Though it already meets my needs.

Or a more significant change i.e. restrictions/changes to the freedom of buying/selling we have now?[/quote] Copy and paste from Abls post on a other thread about this: -No need to hit an offer and place a bid - 'Fill and Wait' order takes care of that automatically -Charts will show you previous volume and prices -Should you be so inclined you will be able to automate your buying and selling on the market It will be the same concept only faster, more robust, more liquid, more info, better control for lenders and a gateway to better diversification and risk management. We hope to be able to bring you this new market sometime in Feb/March - depending on how testing goes. We are aiming to launch it alongside our new UI - but we will see... lots of work to do

The only thing I do find a bit tedious with the SM is that you cannot amend your offer. Instead you have to go to the loan page, create a new one and then go to another page and cancel the old one etc...Otherwise I am quite happy with it, could maybe do with it being more liquid. But that maybe just my offers are not attractive enough

Hi ablrate , Any news on the launch of the new UI? At the moment we are working on the integration of ASMX with the platform. It maybe that we launch with the existing UI - we will know in the next couple of weeks.

Given the number of loans transitioning from amortising to interest only, it would be helpful if the new UI could split payments into capital and interest. This already happens in some cases (eg emails confirming payment made) but not in others (eg payment amount on the all due payments page).

Hopefully the new UI will have wider bandwidth, the Ablrate website is probably the slowest one I use on a regular basis

I have noticed it slowing.. it shouldn't either as it is on Google cloud server where we pay for the bandwidth we use... so it should scale easily. I will investigate
