Does anyone else get the impression that AC's offer was always designed to get the heat off them while they continue the kick the can indefinitely.
All affected need to starting turning the heat up.

And step 1 was never going to be completely under their control.

Anyone any news on this? I seem to remember a few months ago that AC were going to reimburse on all of these no matter which AC account they were invested in. Perhaps Im being impatient (for good reason!).

Nothing else for me.

Attempts are being made to sell the sites so the shortfall can be determined. There are numerous issues which are taking longer than expected to sort out. At least on these loans a payment will be made eventually.

Thanks. Ive tried seeking out the latest emails in my archives but I seem to have been too diligent in filing them away! <confidential details removed by mod>

Update now coming Friday 27th. I think we really are getting there - slower than any of us would like, but personally, I reckon we'll have some good news by the close on Friday.

From the email back in February I took encouragement that AC were going to deal with this matter quickly - more quickly than if they were letting it run. In fact they are just letting it run, in the hope that they will be able to recover some money from this débacle. Rather devalues the good look of the reimbursement. Expressions involving sky and pie spring to mind.

[subsequently deleted post] ... or indeed possibly sooner, or possibly rather later or even never.
Exactly what circumstances would result in a sooner recovery or it taking considerably longer than the particular date you've focused on are subject to a confidentiality clause and thus not suitable for discussion here...

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm not happy with having my capital tied up for another 18 months at the paltry rate AC have offered.

Still feeling that way? Yup, still feeling exactly the same way. ie. Good news that we will be paid out in full, as promised, but it will take longer than we would like.

I am more than happy to be getting capital and a small interest back on these. Its the p2p loans where almost your entire capital is wiped out that you have to worry about.
