Mr Lloyd doesn't provide a source for that piece of info tho ... When that story appeared it is needless to say that 'the lings' and I were intrigued, it was news to us as well. I now have independent proof that the essence of the story is correct. Whilst still an aspiration by the FCA (you cannot speed up the process of law) the 'end of the year' quote in the article is, on current aspirations, pessimistic. In another piece of news I know that Col is still firmly in the gaze of the Treasury Committee and that they are being kept informed by the FCA. The Committee are as keen as investors to see the update. Frustrating as this delay is I'm afraid there is nothing investors can do speed up matters, this stage has to be carried out correctly. So to all Col investors who have been helping 'the lings' and myself by sending letters etc I can categorically say that all your hard work has not been wasted, in fact a lot has been achieved in spite of the very difficult circumstances that we are having to work under.

Thanks duck if you were a betting man duck, would you say that it is likely our outstanding complains will have the decision deferred again in December? That all depends on the outcome of this stage. If this stage progresses as I expect it to (the signs are that it will) then I cannot see how the complaints can be answered. The statement if/when it is made public might indicate if the complaints could be answered but that of course doesn't mean they will be. Overall I see the chance of another deferment as being 'high'.

Any indication as to which year? Good point, well made. Whilst neither source explicitly stated 2021 and taking into consideration the contorted use of the English language that I have seen many times whilst chasing Col I have no doubt that the year referred to by both sources is 2021. That said, things can change .......

"......... the contorted use of the English language..."
Has there ever been a more evasive, disengenuous, shirking, mealy mouthed, greasier, oilier, slippery, "never our fault" organisation than the FCA?
I'm just glad they're so much on our side and valiantly protecting The Consumer.
With their unquestionable competence and integrity.

Notification late yesterday from CH that the registered office for the business has been moved to the BDO office in Liverpool. I wonder if this is a sign of some (any) progress / action?

Indeed, I spotted that notification. There are several possibilities what this means exactly, so I won't speculate on that ...... but things are definitely moving. FWIW since Col went pop papers were moved from Manchester to London and now to Liverpool.

" ................ papers were moved from Manchester to London and now to Liverpool."I can't be the only Collateral Loser ShaftedByTheFCA Lender who is VERY concerned about this. Given Government's reputation for Gross Incompetence, I shudder to think how many papers will be/have already been "lost". And, of course, as usual, it will be the "important" ones that have grown legs.

Not to mention the DX costs for moving those papers around the country several times. You'd have thought that in this day and age, everything could be stored electronically in the cloud.

When I took a case to the Royal Courts of Justice (RCJ) I had to tie my bundle up with a certain type of ribbon (available from one supplier only) and this had to be tied with a certain type of bow (specified). My first bundle 'went missing' at the RCJ so I hand delivered a second set and received a receipt, not an inconsiderable task since I live on the other side of the Country. On my 'big day out' I stood in front of Lord Justice Laws to be told that my bundle had not been received and that he was going to dismiss my case. Needless to say I wasn't having that, showed the receipt and pointed out that I had spotted him handling the CD that I had included in the bundle ...... Whilst things have moved on a little 'procedure' still dominates and if you get one thing wrong then the case can fail.
