The actual invite says your name. So yes, it was personal. Meaning, I take it you got one...any prizes for guessing why ? Once again, insinuating something nefarious without a shred of evidence to back up the drivel. How would FS choose to target me for an invitation when my username here has no similarity to my FS account name and I've used different email addresses? Much more likely is that I'm an active investor and actually have more than a few £25 outstanding loans with them.

You appear to just be assuming everyone being negative isn't a proper investor with enough money on the platform (presumably) because you don't like their opinion!

Saying that I only got an invite because I'm not negative about FS on this forum is plain bonkers as they don't know who I am. And as for the people who have less money invested than me; that doesn't make them better or worse than me, but someone with only a few hundred invested in old loans is not likely to get an invite to an investor evening. This is common sense and is not something nefarious as you've said.

Are ordinary investors invited or is it for larger investors/underwriters?
Still waiting for my invite - maybe it is coming via speedboat?

Saga haemorrhaged many customers before it acknowledged that mistake and came up with a different strategy. In business it is far easier to retain existing customers than to replace with new. Should anyone bother to invest via this platform when their current Zombie loans sit doing nothing. At the very best such customers will be very cautious and at worse will seek pastures new.

So with limited space and resources to meet with investors then you would send out invitations with equal priority to investors from 4 years ago with 2 x £25 loans in default? Fair play to you if so. I wouldn't.

Possibly the resources could have been used differently - newsletter or what have you. It might have been to FS advantage to have advised all investors that a gathering was being held by invite only but had been limited to whatever group they had elected to invite. Excluded investors would then have an understanding of the matter.

maybe FS could set-up an open forum and actually answer our questions - on the down side no booze but cheaper and would please we lenders e.g.
What the hell is the position with the Park Homes - are there 2 sold and 3 in the bin or what - is it not difficult to delineate 5 assets
Why on earth haven't the speed boats been defaulted as sponsorship is about as likely as Jeremy Corbyn being Chief Rabbi - these damn loans have been active for over 3 years!
As for the art loans - don't get me started...

Thanks I will see if I can get to speak about all the way loans mentioned here and in the other posts, although the meeting might not have enough time available, it will be interesting meeting I hope I don't get chucked out!

But just for the sake of clarity, please spell out what we all supposedly know as to why I got an invite.
