As far as I can tell, the accrued interest calculation hasn't had a glitch since my last post.... until last this morning. Both Coventry Serviced Office Loan (82) and Northamptonshire Equestrian Centre (81) paid interest shortly after 9am today and these amount are still being added to the "CURRENT ACCRUED INTEREST" some 40 mins later. Happens very often actually: It will update overnight. The accrued interest is paid, yet still shows as "owed". Some other glitches still outstanding, where loans in default are not showing or accruing at the right rate. Seems unfixable ... Oh dear - so I've only not noticed because I normally update my spreadsheet at about 6am or 7am in the morning. Please don't say "Seems unfixable ..." - I'm soon to be a shareholder (strange we've heard no news on that) which may then mean I have to get in my car and bang on doors.

Admin/IT meeting on Tues to address issues apparently. Pigs are very excited Is there anything to update regarding shares other than whats on Seedrs site which is presumably where communications would have to come through - nothing has changed, they are negotiating, presumably under confidentialitity clauses, wouldnt expect to hear anything for a few months.

3 of my holdings paid interest earlier today. As of a few minutes ago the accrued interest has only been reset on one of them.

Loan #39 (Woo****tt) has finally had its rate set +3% (10 to 13%) to reflect the default status, which kicked in in October last year.
Despite a Q&A response that indicates the missing accrued interest won't be shown (because since October it has been showing and accruing at 10% only), it has actually turned up this morning as part of the accrued total. Yay!
May it continue accruing correctly at 13% until back on track!

So thats it then all accrued interest displaying correctly, ignoring CC which should be normalised soon, isnt it?

Now all we have to do is get an official status update/acknowledgment on all the pre-drawdown interests still owed, for loans that were swept off the platform and under the carpet last year. Are they still being chased? Have AC written them off and hope that everyone has forgotten?

Interestingly, the #39 interest is now accumulating at default rate from the original missed payment rather than 14 days after as indicated in the activity log. DavR had said that was going to be changed in his response above so nice to see the remembered/actioned earlier

chris For the first time in ages, the accrued interest run didn't happen at all overnight (13th into 14th) -- no loans showing any more interest today than they did yesterday. I wonder in this is connected with #70 (North Loth*** WT) which paid up principal for the first time, but gave no interest payment this time? [Edit:Make that 2 days now -- 14th into 15th also no accrued interest run ...]

That is, if you put loans up for sale they don't show up so that others can buy them.

Really could do with some form of banner on site when such issues arise.

According to my spreadsheet all my loans are now up to date. An explanation as to what happened and why such a fundamental fault occurred would be appreciated

I also have more accrued interest today than I had yesterday. Which is nice (was frozen over the weekend).

An explanation as to what happened and why such a fundamental fault occurred would be appreciated A minor database upgrade had silently frozen a service in the background in a state where it reported itself as running but wasn't actually talking to the database. As I'm on holiday last week and this it took a while for people to contact me and get me to kick that part of the system. Simple restart of the service fixed everything and I'll investigate how the service got into that state when I return next week.

If you wake up early the answer is right, if not I guess you learn not to trust AC accounting and go elsewhere. ... which is why I scan them in the morning -- that way the "magic at midnight" that goes on (to update everything) has been applied, and there's little activity that might lead to accrued interest being paid out (yet not deducted) which starts kicking in later in the day. It all balances now, thanks chris.
