I seem to have 'lost', most likely inadvertently cancelled, a RYI request. I wonder if somebody can confirm how I managed to achieve this?
Anyway -middle of last week, put in a RYI request for £500 from my 5yr account. Did the whole Proceed to Quote/Confirm. Money hasn't been released.
-early this week thought of putting in another. When filling in the second amount to release from the 5yr market saw it showed £500 as Pending Request. -having gone to Proceed to Quote on the second amount, decided not to proceed after all, hit the Cancel and Go Back button. -ever since then, if I go to the RYI screen, the £500 no longer shows under 5yr Pending Request -did the Cancel and Go Back cancel the second request (which I intended) AND the first request (which I didn't)?
No doubt something really simple that appears mysterious to me by because I've never used RYI before.
I did the same thing in the 5 year market, my request was for less than my total holding, but the following day nothing appeared on screen to confirm I'd done one. So, I did one again immediately and rang them up. They confirmed they had the first request at the time I had made it, and could also see the second one, they cancelled the second one for me. I still can't see anything on screen, but at least I have an email to confirm the situation now. I suspect it's because I didn't request the whole amount, but who knows? I also released my 5 year account yesterday but they do not send me any kind of confirmatory email, which I find strange. Also, when i go online and look at the account page, it doesn't mention anywhere that I have a release pending. When I click through to the "your money in 5 year" page it says my reinvestment settings are '5 year at market rate'. There is no mention of the release anywhere. So I am in the dark now about whether they received it or not. I will wait and see if the funds I released from my holding account yesterday arrive today before I start to call them.

Try going to Withdraw > Release Investment and details of any pending request should be shown.

Thanks, I went into the release page and it shows 5-year on loan to be £0.00, so I guess that means it is working on releasing the amount I released yesterday. I guess. It would be nice to have had an email confirmation - I don't think I had a single email from them in 2 years, so one email to confirm the end of our relationship is surely not asking too much? Particularly as it should be fully automated!

Just to clarify I did not get an 'auto' email because I did a RYI in the 5 year market; I got email confirmation because I sent them a screen-shot as a result of my telephone call and they replied confirming that my 5 year RYI was in the queue even though I couldn't, and still can't, see it. They did say this phenomenon would be raised with the relevant team for investigation, but I have heard nothing further. Still waiting for any investment back, but not surprised by this at the moment. People updating when they get one will be helpful to me.

Decided in the end to release all my Access funds (half my total on Ratesetter), even though I have good rates (average 7.1%, individual loans up to 9.9%). Request went in this morning - still in the queue. It's inevitable now that there will be several weeks of economic inactivity/reduced activity in many sectors. PF which is already falling likely to take a hit. And I was already a bit overexposed to RS to take advantage of those better rates when they were available. Had them for a while, taking the cash back now. Leaving the 5 year money - for now. If next lot of PF figures poor will likely take the hit to sell out (if I still can) March 10th morning Access request - not yet released (can't remember exact time). 5 year - requested a lot later (can't remember if late 10th or 11th - released on 18th.

Normal borrower repayments continuing OK. 27k from a property developer has appeared in my holding account (1 year loans).
Continue to be impressed with RS management of loans and the steady, albeit slower processing of sellouts.
All too easy to knock platforms, RS are doing a good job so far IMHO during these unprecedented times.
