I am being prevented from accessing the Ablrate platform, for my own safety: "The website’s security certificate is not yet valid or has expired. Error Code: DLG_FLAGS_SEC_CERT_DATE_INVALID" Is this a general problem?

Thanks, it's not just me then. This sounds a rather basic and embarrassing error of omission. Could happen to anyone, I suppose.

We need to be telling ablrate - which this hopefully does. I'll drop them an email as well.

This sounds a rather basic and embarrassing error of omission. Could happen to anyone, I suppose. It could have happened to anyone ten years ago. These days you can fully automate the renewal of certificates, and for free using e.g. Let's Encrypt. I'll never understand why sites where you can share pictures of your cat with your friends are better at this sort of stuff than companies handling millions of pounds in real money.

We need to be telling ablrate - which this hopefully does. I'll drop them an email as well. We shouldn't have to tell them really. Any half-serious site should have automated monitoring in place (using e.g. Pingdom) and get notified when there's a problem with their website. This is really basic stuff.

The certificate error is still coming up for me but you can still get into the website if you choose to ignore the warning.
On Firefox you can, anyway.

Still can't access the site.
This is worrying. Don't expect a platform which has got millions of pounds of investors money in it to be suffering these issues for hours and hours.

Still can't access the site. This is worrying. Don't expect a platform which has got millions of pounds of investors money in it to be suffering these issues for hours and hours. Certainly seem to have identified a Single Point of Failure; possibly someone with (access to) the login details to the relevant account to refresh/renew the certificate is unavailable, maybe a ABL staffer or some 3rd-party and possibly compounded by it being a weekend. I expect Ablrate will email out an apology (with an outline of the issue and lessons learned) once it's sorted. They have, I think, shown humility in this regard previously. (And it is possible to bypass the warning and logon if you really, really must.)
