The blessed administrators. RSM, have made everyone redo their identity guff (AML) and to be slightly fair a few other companies seem to have asked for them again recently. The difference is everyone else can do them same or next day, but according to p2pfinancenews they will let people get some of their money as soon as they are completed. Of course the administrators will need to put a grade 1 employee with many weeks experience onto the job £300/hour kerching) to ensure there are no typos, so understandably this might take a while. www.p2pfinancenews.co.uk/2019/09/06/lendy-wealth-website-reopens-but-fund-access-still-restricted/

It's largely a money-making scam. As you say, the Administrators will charge a pretty penny to redo these checks and, at the absurd hourly rates they bill, will probably milk tens of thousands of pounds for doing them.

The FCA should have to pay for this activity given they were the regulators of Lendy at the time the "incorrect" AML onboarding processes were in place.

I might have missed something but I wasn't asked to redo anything, just to check that the details held by Lendy were correct.

They're running checks on everyone through Experian and then dealing with any exceptions apparently.

Has anyone checked their credit file with Experian to confirm the ID verification search has taken place?

Re AML I am beginning to feel like the rape victim who after reporting an incident to the police is questioned for hours about why they were unwise enough to put themself in a situation of risk. To add insult to injury we investors are having to pay the salaries of those doing the policing. The entire system of Administration is rotten to the core. It is simply City fat cats ripping off all the other suckers.

Lendy – The Property Platform, one of Europe’s largest peer-to-peer platforms, has received full authorisation from the UK regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Lendy’s secured lending model was authorised by the FCA following a detailed end to end assessment of its business and operating model. We’re very pleased to have been given full authorisation by the FCA. It has been a long and sometimes challenging journey, which has involved a detailed review of our processes and policies and has helped us mature into a stronger and more robust business.

So RSM are claiming to be more thorough than the FCA in these matters whilst at the same time benefitting financially from their own thoroughness.

Has anyone checked their credit file with Experian to confirm the ID verification search has taken place? I receive automatic notifications from Experian whenever any search whatsoever is made against my file, as yet, no searches nor credit checks, nor ID checks have been made against my account at Experian. Update on 13.9.2019 - Still no checks on my file from R** (or anyone else acting for them) for the AML checks.

Probably better to do it themselves. Thoroughly. Just in case. It'll only cost investors a few mil, but better safe than sorry

Last update I had from RSM said: "The Experian electronic checks are now taking place, following the completion of these checks by 20 September 2019, those who initially pass, will receive a confirmation email from the Lendy Team"
Has anyone actually had such a confirmation email yet?

Not only have I not had an email, to the best of my knowledge a search has not been undertaken on my info either. For the record, I have a paid subscription and all searches are notified to me, regardless of reason. There are times when I receive a notification a few days after the search, and if this is the case, I will post here stating that a search has been undertaken. Update: 30.9.2019 at 17.11, still no AML checks against my file. Will RSM be billing for AML checks to 20+K accounts when not all accounts are checked? If some accounts are deemed not to be worthy of checking and already AML compliant, could these accounts not have their funds returned sooner?
