I can't, Lendy disabled the button for me due to AML verification checks. Sorry, I cannot comment. I did not try to withdraw until 20 minutes ago. So I have no idea if mine was disabled before today. The whole process is just crazy and stressful! Same here, until the repayment came through I had nothing to withdraw so don't know if it was disabled. After staring at the screen blankly, trying to remember how to make a withdrawal, (it's been a long time) I got the success message.

I have just withdrawn my funds - even without confirmation. Same here, I was able to submit a withdrawal request just now.

Well I failed my test.
Interestingly though I have a friend who failed his but his wife has received no request for information. He mentioned this to them and they claim that's because 'she has no funds or loan parts to withdraw' which is utter b/s as they have exactly the same loan! He's made a complaint against them.
This lot are making things up as they go along.

And yet we are being expected to release further personal data to these people including data which could be used for identity theft or bank fraud.
In some cases having said they were going to use Experian for the initial checks, they have failed people without even making an Experian search so they are, in effect, seeking to gain access to personal information under false pretences in those cases. That sounds uncomfortably close to the behaviour that the banks warn you about in their anti fraud messages to customers.
Suffice it to say I still haven't submitted my documents for 'verification' as I remain deeply uneasy about the whole process.

I had the same thoughts. But..... as Shoosmiths probably have access to the whole Lendy database, I figured they have all the info on me already. (but not my drivers licence number or photo. But if they really wanted to see my face it is on LinkedIn anyway) I am sure the staff have signed NDA's or bound by professional confidentiality. If you do send - please pay extra to "signed off" post, so you can verify they received it.

I sent my ID documentation on Saturday (recorded delivery, to be received on Monday or Tuesday), which was a copy of my passport certified by the post office, and an original Council Tax claim for the year.
I have received today confirmation today that AML check was complete, and that I could withdraw money again.
Overall process seems very quick (only a couple of days)

Very wise, but how will you know if they have done it?
A quick read of their data retention policy would indicate they may keep this sort of stuff for up to seven years which seems like a long time to me. They do say that if people request deletion of data under GDPR they will consider that but didn't give a guarantee that it would be done if the data falls into one of their categories which they deem to require longer retention.
Ultimately I guess it will depend on whether AML legislation is deemed to trump GDPR legislation to determine how long they can keep this sensitive personal data. It would be then up to the ICO to decide in any dispute over the matter.

AML legislation says companies must keep records for 5yrs after last transaction with a person, or after business has concluded, I believe. GDPR is about how businesses keep data. If it is needed by the business to perform its service and is required as per legislation, then the data is kept, as far as I am aware.
Here's a question for you. If an ID document goes out of date (e.g. driving licence expires), must a company still dealing with that person (and AML/KYC applicable) obtain a certified replacement copy/original of ID that is in date before they can have any further dealings with the person? Indeed, what happens if a person moves to a different address; how are the AML/KYC requirements triggered or satisfied if the person does not notify the company?

I’m still unverified and unable to withdraw any funds. I sent in the documents asked for but have not heard a thing either way. Any advise on what I should do? Wait longer? Or somehow make contact to ask what’s going on?

Or somehow make contact to ask what’s going on? It's an unprecedented situation. I don't think anybody's advice will be better than any other's, unless it comes from one in touch with R*M/Bendy/Shoosmooths, old Uncle Tom Cobbley and all. Rest assured, there are others in the same boat, including me. If you want to prod the turd, try support@lendy.co.uk.

On 10th October I received the 'OK, verified' email but I'm still unable to withdraw funds so I wrote to ask why not - Lendy Support seem to think they sent a different 'unverified' email, what an absolute shambles!

Are you sure you received that e-mail on Oct 10? I didn't think anyone was notified of verification (or not) until this week.
