In my car outside Branksmere House's driveway, no response to the door buzzer, the building looks empty with no lights on. Still no reply to AML docs sent 4 weeks ago, no response to the the withdrawal request made on the 31st Oct and all emails since have been ignored. Currently no MP in the area due to the GE so I've prepared a packet with a full review of RSM's activity here and heading for Newsquest's Daily Echo's offices in Eastleigh.

Could you try Shoosmiths office?

They have specifically asked for an unredacted statement.
When I get a bit more spare time I shall start asking some awkward questions of RSM/Shoosmiths. I'm in no hurry.
I sent them the "top page" of a statement showing name, address, etc. but just a summary of money in and out for that month. It passed muster, so you could maybe consider something similar...

jhamster, vfr800, my recent experience dealing with Lendy support was satisfactory. I sent my certified proof of ID (current signed UK passport ) and certified proof of address (lendy registered bank account statement) via 1st class signed for on 11th October. It was delivered on 14th October early in the morning. Prior sending my documents, I kept electronic copies of these certified documents and cover letter Word document. On 30th October, I emailed Lendy support about the withdrawal issue and I have been told to send certified documents again. Thanks to my electronic backup of certified documents and proof of delivery, Lendy support acknowledged the mistake and I received payment today.

But why would you have to send them again, something not being done right here, they are personal sensitive documents what is happening to the originals!

My personal AML experience.
I prodded them yesterday 14 Nov.
They said they had emailed me on 6 Nov. Untrue. Or they mistyped my email address (instead of using the database). Or their email sender is on a blacklist (my guess). Or erm...?
And anyway why just a week ago? (because I live overseas they say. erm and....) because Experian couldn't verify me they say (I know as a point of fact they have done at least twice before for other companies)
Whatever, it's extremely incompetent, a distinct step down from Lendy's performance!
The postal address looks like they have subbed the job out to Shoosmiths, which is a pricey firm of lawyers, so presumably they will be charging by the minute, another cock up earns them another £100 kerching.
When we do get a committee I do hope they manage to get the charge for this thrown back in their faces, we just should not have the bill inflicted on us for a service which is a million miles below what we have a right to expect

Unless you have confirmed otherwise, there is no guarantee that they have even checked with Experian before failing you on AML.
A number of posters have commented that no enquiries were made with Experian before the were told they had failed the checks and to submit additional documentation.

Well, if they type your details into the checking system incorrectly, then surely as well as the check failing, it would also fail to register as a search against your (correct) details...?
If they search for "Jack Johnson", and it fails, "John Jackson" still won't be able to detect a search having occurred...

Many people have reported the same problem on this forum. Happened to me over a month ago. "We have sent you an email ... apologies if you did not receive it." Even assuming they had some initial problems with sending emails - due to being unfamiliar with the Lendy IT systems or whatever - they really should have investigated it and fixed it by now.

Even assuming they had some initial problems with sending emails - due to being unfamiliar with the Lendy IT systems or whatever - they really should have investigated it and fixed it by now. Why investigate and fix a problem that's such a great money-earner.
Just think of how many extra staff hours they can keep billing for in order to handle the constant stream of queries about why the withdrawal function is still blocked etc.
On a slightly less cynical note, I think they'd stated somewhere that these emails were supposed to be sent from support@lendy.co.uk - this is the same address from which the administrators updates are being received.
I note that the administrators update emails (sent via MailChimp) have a green tick next to the email address in my email client indicating that the sender address has been correctly verified, and have extra headers like dkim-signature that I think perform part of this verification (I really ought to be more familiar with this stuff!)
Perhaps they're using a different email system for sending the "further verification details requested" emails, and not including a valid dkim-signature, or failing to complying with the sender policy framework published in lendy.co.uk's DNS record, causing other mail servers to ignore it or at least treat it with suspicion?
If that is the case, I'd find the irony of them failing to properly verify themselves in an email that's demanding we verify ourselves would be quite amusing if it weren't causing so many, entirely avoidable, problems.
