Once again many thanks to those Col investors who have sent the letter to their MP, appreciated.
It is only a few weeks since the first letters were sent (excluding a couple of early tests that were carried out) and already the feedback that I am receiving is positive. MP's are picking up on this issue, meetings are being arranged, letters are being sent to Andrew Bailey at the FCA, exactly what is needed.
We have instances where a single MP will have received more than one letter which has to be good since he/she will realise that action is needed.
I know it doesn't come naturally to a lot of people to 'make a fuss' (I include myself in that group) but in this instance the feedback so far suggests that a little effort now is not wasted. If you haven't requested/sent the letter so far I would urge you to consider doing so since it will only improve your chances of seeing your money back.
I have received several PM's where investors are unsure what to say when asked to call into their MP's office to 'discuss' the issue. The point I would make here is that your MP will be acting for you as an individual, so be selfish. You have been badly let down by the FCA, you will be loosing money through no fault of yours, this is causing you XYZ problems. The collapse of Col will have hit everybody in a different way, if you attend a meeting or need to reply to anything in writing concentrate on how the issue affects you.
That said, I am always happy to receive PM's so if you are unsure of anything just drop me a PM. Hopefully I can help to clarify any issues that you are unsure about.
Quick points.
Obviously if you give me any of the information listed above it stays confidential and will not be posted on forums/press etc.
Whilst we are not there yet, work progresses well in sorting out this mess.
Once again thanks for your help so far.

- MP's. I am compiling a list of MP's contacted, this is proving useful. As I said when the letter was first 'launched' supplying this information is NOT compulsory but if you have sent the letter and not given me your MP's name/constituency if you would like to it would be appreciated and useful.
- Feedback. As I said earlier, this is starting to come in nicely. Again you do not have let me know anything, what goes on is between you and your MP, however any feedback is much appreciated as we work 'behind the scenes' on the bigger picture.
