I'm sure that this has been discussed before but I can't find it using search so apologies if I should have looked harder.
So I was playing with the loan selling sections today and was surprised I had a loan that failed to be considered for my test sale. That was a surprise as to my knowledge I had never lent at less than larger than £10 so I had a look at my transactions compared to the loan dates.
So as far as I can tell I put a 5Y lend order onto the system for £58.74 as found in lender transactions data on 19/07/2019 and it would seem from the 5Y "on loan money" screen it was split into 2 loans of £5.86 and £12.27 both @6% on 20/7/2019 there is a third loan on 22/7 for £58.00 also @6%.
Unfortunately the transaction data does not have times of day so its not clear what order the 5 items on the 19th came in and its damn sure I'm too old to remember that kind of detail. Also transaction data does not seem to have the loan formation info either. I kept a running balance in the transactions data but at the moment the number in the transactions and the numbers in the loan table do not seem to stack up.
I'm guessing that RS can create loans of less than £10 as I have a new loan starting at £5.86 and i'm assuming that this was the back end of bigger loan that fell short by these values.
Sorry for the detail or lack of it depending on your perspective but I was holding money back to prevent this as I can't actually sell this loan.
Whilst a <£10 loan that cannot be closed by me is no big issue I wondered if anyone knew how best to not get these.
Here are the 19th transactions if anyone has a theory of my mistake assuming I made one.
Date Market Type Amount
---------- ------ ------------------------------ ------
19/07/2019 5 Year Lend order -58.74
19/07/2019 5 Year Cancellation of order 43.28
19/07/2019 5 Year Cancellation of order 15.46
19/07/2019 5 Year Lend order -15.46
19/07/2019 Money moved from your other RS Account 15.46
I'm not sure if I am confused, bemused or what unless there are timing issues relative to the onscreen loan formed dates and the transaction data dates.
any ideas gratefully received...
