Another V*lc*n loan when the existing ones are trading below par doesn't bode well for a fast takeup...

Another V*lc*n loan when the existing ones are trading below par doesn't bode well for a fast takeup... The other two are interest only, this one looks like amortising. Everything "interest only", except 69 and 101 is trading at discount atm. The size suggests that it won't fly off the shelf, but with expected repayment of 80 and 98 this loan might be filled fairly quick.

There is another manufacturing borrower, who does amortising loans at 13%. We cannot be sure.

Whatever existing borrower this is I will be most likely getting a small slice of it with an extra 1% "bonus" from HSBC (thanks to ABL accepting debit card payments).

I think this loan is with iM*** (the other manufacturing borrower) not Vu***n, chiefly as df's posted loan security details include "Assignment of Intellectual Property" - this is a feature of the current iM*** loans (108 + 112) as they have a patent, but the current Vu***n loans (120 + 124) don't have any IP listed as a security.

They are also taking our another million in debt, would want to see how if affects existing security.

If it is another rain dance, I think it would have to be a variation on the theme to have any value. If it is the same intellectual property it would be getting stretched very thin for something not that original in the first place. I moved the earlier loans on fairly quickly (they have mostly traded at a premium to their advantage) so may have a passing interest based on that rather flimsy rationale. Did they ever get the patent?

Not a big deal, you can't earn more than £10 per month, but every little helps This was the second time they've offered this.

I'm almost up to the top of my IM*** allowance, but would still increase with a view to sell at small premium in near future.

If it's an acquisition, the IP may come with the purchase (bought with our loan money). I don't know which of the two manufacturers it is but we will know soon enough.

Yes the offer is for everyone who has HSBC debit card. I still consider First Direct as my main bank probably because my current account is about 25 years old, but these days I keep my balance there at around zero, mainly use it as a hub. I continuously use FD regular saver since it was launched - the most consistent regular saver product ever
