They might well have got to this and thought "Well, it's not really benefiting us and will take more work so we'll dump it". You've just described a conscious decision to avoid doing something that might be useful to the customer but not to the company. I can't see how you can say the decision you describe is a cock-up. A conscious decision to reduce customer service, at best.

+1 for a complaint re: lack of early repayment emails. Have logged in this morning to find a large early repayment hit my account yesterday, so that cash is now of course stuck in RS until Monday because of this.

Have logged in this morning to find a large early repayment hit my account yesterday, so that cash is now of course stuck in RS until Monday because of this. I'm slightly confused as to why it's stuck, or did it get relent out immediately in the new markets, as in the old products can't one set rates higher than expected to prevent this type of thing happening. I'm also not clear why it you say its stuck until monday though. I set my relend rates in 5Y to 6.0% if something bites when I'm not looking great but at least I catch returned funds when I'm not looking. I usually come in most mornings and check but I also track stuff using the RS reports for the month - I find that whilst RS may report that money is due in on say the 17th it's usually not actually there until sometime after my daily checks I have found. I have never used relend to actually relend automatically but I guess many people do set it and walk away.

(I mean, OK, I'm not going to be writing to my MP about this, but it is a minor irritation )

I wonder also even if you had the mail setting and it worked it would not have been delayed anyway, sometimes I get emails dealing with loans that cashed out the day before. could be my email server as well though I guess.

I'm no longer receiving 'Fully Matched Order' emails either Same here, so I checked my Lender Notifications settings provided at the top of this thread (thanks benaj ). Mysteriously, the check box to notify a fully matched order had become unticked! That certainly wasn't done by me. Checking old emails, I was receiving these notifications until July 2018, so Ratesetter must have reset it for some reason, behind my (our?) back(s). Oddly though, I'm still receiving notifications for - Portion paid back early (last being Sept 2019)
- Interest paid back early (June 2019), and
- Investment completed early (May 2019)
(which aren't controlled by check boxes). Ratesetter's user interface is certainly difficult to fathom, in places inconsistent and even ambiguous (as in the nonsensical, "If you do NOT want updates...click yes or no to opt-out" already highlighted by sydb above).

I'm still receiving monthly statements and confirmation of funds received but nothing else. All boxes where relevant are ticked.

I've just received this answer from RS....
"We are having technical issues in relation to email notifications for matched orders. Due to this issue, investors are not receiving emails when their orders are matched in the 1 year or 5 year market. This issue has been raised with the relevant team who are working on fixing it. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused as a result of this issue."

Cheers for the info pomma even though it still doesn't explain why I'm not receiving early repayment or Rolling - Er, I mean Access - reinvestment emails either

Oops, as an ex designer and developer - a few years back I'll admit - this stinks of the recent changes not being completely checked from an integration perspective. Mind you it's not particularly surprising as these days there is an ever increasing pressure on managers to deliver changes in ever unreasonable time periods and the PM is the one that gets kicked from above and from below. The thing that bothers me is that how much of these changes are affected by bad change control and worse what else is affected that we, on the front of what must be a huge system, can only see a small part of. Mrs Aju has been trying to get CS to accept recent errors in changes the the Rate Trends screen where she had to try 3 times to get them to see the issues. They eventually did but despite sending clearly marked snapshots they had to be walked through the issue bit odd really. An old saying "Left hand not knowing what right hand is doing" springs to mind. Sadly it's our money these people are playing with and I use that term very loosely.

Or post a reply on this forum? They clearly prefer to leave us uninformed. John 11:35

(I haven't dropped to 3%). I have twice asked then if I will still receive emails when loans are paid back early but they have avoided answering that one so far.....

Mrs Aju got emails last month but none today as yet despite having lent to the 1Y earlier today. Perhaps there is a backlog and it will come later.

I'm no longer receiving 'Fully Matched Order' emails either Is it just me as well missing the Fully Matched Order emails? Nope its both myself and Mrs aju as well, not too much of an issue when one is playing "catch the best rates if you can" game but it would be nice if they had a "your loan has completed early" email as well for people like me but I can catch those with higher auto lend rates than current. Not easy to see which one closed out though but that's another story. pomma did report Rs was aware of an issue a few messages above. Mind you the answer does suggest the new products are ok but I can't comment on those as the 1Y is my angle at present with better rates I feel just have to keep cool head to get them!.
