Mike agreed. I wouldn't give the pipeline loans a PBL number, which could cause confusion, when one loan replaces another under the same PBL number.

Agree with the current sentiment on here but, one question remains unanswered savingstream. Will you put a first 24hr bid limit on the smaller upcoming loans? This will give everyone a fair chance of getting a stake in various loans & not just fast-fingered lenders!

New loan live. I wouldn't have thought it would need underwriting.

Filling quick, several big bids going through, a shame we can't see more than about 10 in recent activity.

New loan live. I wouldn't have thought it would need underwriting. If SS can fund a £1.05M loan without the help of underwriters then they're doing very well!

Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

This loan was below 20% when I bid 2 hours ago, now it is 46%. I wonder if there was some underwriting which has now been released to lenders. I saw one bid of £150k go through earlier.

If SS can fund a £1.05M loan without the help of underwriters then they're doing very well! This loan was below 20% when I bid 2 hours ago, now it is 46%. I wonder if there was some underwriting which has now been released to lenders. I saw one bid of £150k go through earlier. That was my thought too. Only I put it into the PBL015 thread... Uh, oh... Funny things are happening again. I was about to report that the funding of this loan was going very well, with only about £200k left to raise. But then I refreshed my screen and now it's telling me that there's about £500k required! I presume this means that some of the early 'investments' were shadow bids from underwriters, and now SS have removed them to allow more 'ordinary' investors to participate. Unfortunately, this is sending misleading signals out to potential investors and it's more likely to hit them negatively than positively. I know I looked at the rapidly-decreasing amount remaining to fund and decided that I needed to act quickly and throw some money at this loan before the opportunity disappeared instead of my preferred plan, which would have been to get some questions answered before making my decision. With the amount remaining to fund having jumped up so substantially after I invested, I feel that I was manipulated into thinking the situation was different than it actually was. I do not like that feeling at all!
