I have chipped into the fighting fund - I note some very generous donations so well done to them and the organisers. What an unbelievable mess - FS could not organise the wind-down properly let alone the loan book!
Come on chaps and chappesses we only need £403 to hit the target...

we have hit the target! - Very disappointed so few of the total investors have chipped in - it only needed under £3 per person but hopefully this will be a good investment for those of use who contributed (as well as those who haven't)!

If any more is needed I will chip in, or do it now.
I was unclear how to deal with it.
Are details where to donate easy to find, or can they be entered on this thread.
Not into Facebook.

FSAG has around 300 members ATM, 100 people donated to the fund, hopefully the rest (plus the other 3200 investors) will put themselves on standby in case we need further legal advice or action.

As I understood it, those who contribute will be the only ones entitled to view the legal advice received. If not I shall be requiring a refund.😊 It is plainly obvious to me that more money is very likely to be needed from even a cursory inspection of the lawyers' engagement letter and I think would be to those with any experience at all of legal dealings. While it has been a fire fight to raise these funds in the time available the organisers have done a great job. Now could be a good time to communicate how to raise further funds on a more widespread basis. I don't see any harm in those who are well intended contributing their 0.1% even if this raise goes over the initial target. I think they would at least be entitled to view the legal advice.

Is it now closed?
If myself & others still contribute, previous contributors can be refunded some of their money.
I just need to know where to send it.

Posted my contribution on the Crowdfunding website just now. I'm pretty sure that there will need to be further funding tranches (a familiar phrase well known to "investors" in FS so everyone will know exactly what I mean).
Can I suggest that an account is created for the Action Group. I know I look after the pennies but what seems to be a surcharge on a deposit using Crowdfunding could be better spent by the Action Group IMHO.
I am not actually that familiar with social media so if I am being a bit of a prat please understand as I am quite old and haven't that much experience in the wild world of the internet.

This is not a criticism but I only read about the fundraising by chance which directly led to my contribution.
To make life easier for those who may want to contribute to a "Fighting Fund" for "investors" perhaps a separate thread would be appropriate?
I'm sure that there are other people like me who use the internet in a very limited way and didn't know you could opt out of the "contribution" you make to Crowdfunding. But then I am rather elderly and only use the internet in a very limited way. Perhaps it's better to just read the contributions on the Forum, say nothing and see what transpires.

It should have been perfectly clear from the "draft letter of engagement" that we posted, that the collection was to cover limited legal advice & support up to & including the meeting on the 28th. We are obviously unable to see into the future, but the FSAG nominations for the Creditors Committee have significant business and legal experience, so once we have (hopefully) secured control of the CC, we are hoping that there won't be too much need for further legal advice or action.

How are the FSAG CC members planning to vote on the proposal? In more general, how is the FSAG going to make its decisions? Hi sb, In reply to your queries, I am personally going to vote "in Favour" for both sections. Not ideal, but we need to get the ball rolling. There are members from FSAG trying to get seats, and one HNW person who is totally aligned with us who is also trying to get a seat. We aim for 3 seats, then we are in control. So please vote for me! As for how the FSAG will make decisions, we have made numerous decisions to date. Do you know that the legal firm has already been paid before the funds have even been drawn out of the gofundme account? This is an example of how we work together and trust each other. We have all "worked" together in the past, or know each other, in one manner or another, and all get on very well together, and all have the same agenda, WE WANT OUR CASH BACK. Yes we do have disagreements on some issues, but then we are grown up and discuss amongst ourselves, and the person with the most experience in a certain area will call the shot for that particular issue. Have I answered your query? If not PM me specifically. All the best, MP2P / Marc
