I dont understand what this abl ceo's explanation on this loan.
Please can someone explain to me why the main director and many directors of this company have resigned?
It doesnt make sense to resign from a company that is making money. If I see this in stock market, it is a RED sign and I will cut my losses STAT!

The director has offered his shares as security for a loan, and the new lender has taken directorship in order to control the stake. Prior to this, the last director resignation was in 2012, so I'd suggest that's not germane to the situation. Remember not all directors are owners of the business - to your point about stock market resignations, you wouldn't hold many shares as there's an average of 10% churn (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2019/06/12/average-tenure-ftse-100-boss-grows-first-time-three-years/)

£9700 selling at 100% has appeared.
Not my own I may add, but tempted to top up.
Hope this helps the seller.
Makes me think we could advertise on these threads, in advance of placing orders.

why has this loan been paused? The payment due today hasn't yet been made (per the repayment history).

What is the difference between this loan, with a new tranche imminent, which is limited to trading at 100% & the Wellb---g loan tranches; whereas with the Wellb---g loan, when new tranches were imminent, the previous tranches were not limited to trading at 100%

This was trading very high and they presumably worried about a disparity of information between those who read admin notes and those who do not. I don't think I have received any email about it, not holding it, and so if I bought now at +X% I could be looking at a loss when the new tranche is launched. On the other one, there was a well known sequence of tranches close together. I think personally that I would have sent an email to all lenders about a potential new loan if I could, and let nature take its course, but they have not yet agreed the new tranche. Anything could happen. They are being careful.

WEL was multiple tranches announced up front. From the borrowers proposal 'Debt financing of up to £1m is sought in two tranches in early 2020. This loan of £500,000 represents the first tranche.'

I would not wish to follow every loan, too many emails. The second tranche for this one is not in 2020 as stated. I would not criticise Ablrate on this, not having the information on the current position.

I wonder if this new additional borrowing is to replace the additional borrowing that the borrower took from A**ess Co&&ercial Inv@st@r Limited in early summer last year? The shares taken as security were to be returned to the borrower in Autumn last year, but CH records indicate that this has not yet happened.
