Completed transfer in 5 weeks completed this week part of issue was LW couldn't send cheque due to covid and covid hitting part way through. Building society initially wouldn't allow direct transfer. But all got resolved. Anyone moved an ISA from LW recently? If so how long did it take to move it and did it go smoothly? Do them quite regular. Once they receive the transfer form it takes about two days for the cash to go pending. On a few occasions it then disappears from pending within a day or so, which means the money is on it's way. Mostly though, it sits in pending for around 4 days. If so I email them & it's then dealt with reasonably quickly. So generally between 1 & 2 weeks from sending the transfer form to the receiving manager by email attachment, too receiving manager getting the money in that account. That's with all paperwork & funds done electronically.

Thanks criston. Decided I may as well get them to do some work for what they are deducting from my account.
So far my isa with them has made next to nothing and I've lost the tax wrapper on what I've withdrawn over the last 10 months or so.stupid I know but I honestly thought they might go bust hence my desperate measures to withdraw.

I submitted a request to transfer ISA cash to Paragon on 14th December, but LW claim not to have received it. A repeat request was submitted on 22nd January with the same result. They told me this may be due to their post going to the wrong office, and they are all working from home. As LW have already lost my trust I decided it was safer to withdraw the cash and lose ISA status.

Having said that I thought that everything was being done electronically so an email would be picked up wherever they wanted to read it. I recently transferred holding funds to Shawbrook...moved funds within a week. Best to chase the requesting party to make sure they have sent the request electronically prior to speaking to LW.
