For those not on the mailing list (or have other email issues) here is Thursday's email update:
Subject: New investor and updates

From: "Ablrate" <info@ablrate.com>
Hi all
If you read the press concerning peer/marketplace lending, you may see us in the news as we have made a rather special announcement. We recently signed an agreement with the Synthesis Fund to invest through Ablrate. It is never easy getting an investor on board, especially one who has 90,000+ loans elsewhere, but we have spent a considerable amount of time running the company through our investment models, the aircraft leasing industry, the leasing industry as a whole and also the technology we employ and our plans for expansion. It has been a long an rigorous process but in the end we believe that we demonstrated the soundness of our business model.
Synthesis was the first organization to launch an EU-regulated fund dedicated to investing in P2P loans. Synthesis Multi-Asset Architecture SICAV-SIF, SCA, domiciled in Luxembourg and launched in June 2012, ini tially seeded the first US-based fund, investing in whole loans through its Synthesis-P2P Sub-Fund, and now holds over 90,000 loans originated by Lending Club and Prosper.
As part of this fund's strategic advancement, Synthesis will invest $20 million through Ablrate over the next 12 months, having begun with a placement of $2.150 million in November.
Obviously we are thrilled to be able to attract a fund such as Synthesis and it will enable us to build on our portfolio of loans, bringing more loans, more frequently. This agreement marks an important step in the developement of Ablrate and we feel it will benefit all of our investors and demonstrates the strength of our niche in the industry.
In other news, we closed the United loan today and if you have invested, your instant returns will have been paid into your account automatically. Thank you to all of you who invested.
We are working on our next aircraft loans and have s ome interesting capital equipment loans that we are evaluating.
Regards
Ablrate
