Welcome to the forum Mansour B - Elfin Market I've not looked into your proposition to date but note you're located in Level 39 in common with WiseAlpha and formerly Fund Ourselves (along with dozens of other FinTech start-ups). Those without ad blockers may have seen the Elfin Market banner ad on the forum. There doesn't appear to be a risk warning but guess there should be to comply with the FCA financial promotion rules? Not an area I know much about but thought I ought to raise it unless that is your offering really is the Holy Grail

Hi guys! .... Feel free to ask if you have more questions, I'll make sure to check this forum in the coming days!It would be nice to see a bit more detail of investments on the site, ie, queue length and queue position if you're not fully lent, and how your funds are split between borrowers, ie, how diversified you are. (At least I haven't found how to see that sort of information.)

dan1, that's a good point, thanks for raising this. We'll review this banner ad. Hi guys! .... Obviously early days but has anyone given this platform a go. Thanks. Yes, I made a small investment to test them out back in Feb. My current XIRR is 8.05%. They've cut lending somewhat during the crisis. My funds are currently 83% employed.

Cash drag is not a big problem for me in the current climate, if anything it is reassuring. I'll put a tiny bit in to see how the site works.

If they had any late loans would you be able to see that? Thanks for putting the question mrdc - I have been wondering how this platform is doing.

I can't currently see the details of any loans I'm invested in. I understand that it is intended that this will be possible in future, but currently I can only see how much each of my investment chunks has earned, and the percentage of each investment chunk that is currently employed. E.g. the information shown for one of my investment chunks is: the size, date and maturity date of the investment and: - Current Balance: £103.17
- Amount Earned: £3.17
- Realised AER: 7.9%
- Percentage on Loan: 79.1%

It's a rolling line of credit so there is no end date to the individual loans as far as I'm aware (although there is an end date to your investment) the interest due could go into arrears which would imply the loan was in trouble, I don't think you would be able to see that on your account.

Why is it called Elfin Market? Do ye not know of the leprechaun's magic purse, the 'spre na skillenagh'? In this little leather purse there is always a shilling, which no matter how often spent is magically replaced.
