Just one of my loans still with no update. 34% LTV ? Auction ? Repay the loan ?
Anyway, I've just tweeted on Twitter to two quite large The Jam supporter groups that it must be open to offers, contact the Administrators.
Remember that scene in Blazing Saddles where Hedley was listing the type of people he wanted in his army , how many of the FS borrowers would get in that army ?

That is, if you believe the valuation of a memorabilia collection of a band that was relevant 40 years ago is spot on. I personally would not hold my breath with all the recent developments.

neither would I - they are been trying to flog their personal toasters etc for months now and not had a nibble - celebrity memorabilia is very difficult to value and can rapidly change and we all know how good FS are at valuing simple things like property!

the collection is a one-off though , looks outstanding, my favourite band of all time, bigger than most bands could only dream of. If only I had a spare 125k...
Does anybody know Paul Weller's phone number, he should buy it ? Only problem is do we know for a fact that FS have the collection intact in their possession and it is owned by the borrower ? FS has previous here...

if the administrators have the security it would be a START, dont forget FS were ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS and chose to believe everything these scamming borrowers told them without checking/verifying anything.

That is great, but I suspect it is not that high on most people's lists . Given it appeals to a niche market, selling the collection with that price tag is likely to be a big ask.

Need to be quite JAMMY to achieve £125k then?

It looks like FS does have possession, small mercies, auction aimed for Friday 24 April 2020. My money is on this generating a lot of interest and not just in the UK, it could go pre-auction. I would buy it if I had the readies.

Auction items such as pop memorabilia have been shown to be very unpredictable. Sometimes well in excess of guide price, and sometimes for very little, all depends upon the market at the time. Anyone know the strength of pop memorabilia at the moment?

I wasn't in this one luckily but I assume CG took their 2.5% and the FS 5% of the 102K not the 60K? They should have shown their true colours and just asked for 7.5% back !!!
