Anyone else have a quote of over 7.5% to withdraw from loans? I have 3.2% shortfall fees, was 6.2% one month ago.

The position has improved quite markedly (see Matthew's new thread)
To sell out completely my "sell fee" has reduced from around 7% last week to something like 1.25% now.

Why would there be that much difference in about a week ?
What the F*** is going on ?!?!?
What kind of mickey mouse system is this ?

Thought I understood the changes until your post mikeh If it were me, I'd bite their hand off and take it now before it changes again!

I think people overacted the last couple of weeks. I have tried with my little knowledge of finance to explain on my posts that investments have to be seen on the long term, and in LW case it was definitely worst being patience, maybe withdrawing interest and capital repayments on monthly basis and reassess the situation in 6 months time like it was communicated by Matthew . I don't think it is rational to take a decision in couple of days just because you are disappointed. LW changes definitely need some adjustment, for the good of investors with more protection on capital. Thumbs up to LW to have been able to to those adjustments (they could have done nothing ) , very pleased by this update and will definitely continue to invest with them.

Anyone else have a quote of over 7.5% to withdraw from loans? I have 3.2% shortfall fees, was 6.2% one month ago. so then it can't be that the shortfall is calculated over the life of the loan as was said elsewhere, because we are told the lifetime rates for each cohort haven't changed. I have no idea how it is calculated now.

The position has improved quite markedly (see Matthew's new thread) To sell out completely my "sell fee" has reduced from around 7% last week to something like 1.25% now. To sell out my partner's Growth product (2018 & 2019 cohorts) now - there's a 2.6% interest shortfall penalty compared to 5.4% last week. I wonder what cohort do you have mikeh ?, That's a reduction like 5.75%.

I've sold out of Flexible and about half of Growth fee-free.

I think it all depends on which cohort you have, 2017 looks like the worst in term of performance, so i guess, anyone who started to invest after 2017 should have lower interest shortfalls rates than people invested before 2017.
