The lot is showing as withdrawn from the auction.
My understanding is that a property guide price can be within 10% of the reserve price - hence £176k would have secured the site if it were proceeding today. One would imagine the valuation for auction purposes is "as sold" and therefore does not take into account future development increases.

Valuation of £700,000, sold at £330,000 is a good result? I think legal proceedings need to be taken against several valuers appointed by F.S. I hope the Administrators do so!

Am I the only one to wonder if a member of the gypsy community has bought this land with FS doshing out a free loan with interest at about minus 12% pa? Why else would a developer buy it at such a premium over auction guide price? I am glad I got this one wrong as it means a better than expected recovery but I wonder if the locals will be so pleased...

yes this was owned by Autism Hampshire - god knows what is going on with this one - I just hope it goes for more than the £800K estimate!

Hi Adrian - are you referring to the Bristol property? Are the Autism Hampshire sites going to auction do you know?

No doubt the gypsy encampment would be cited to cause the change. The Gypsy King Tyson Fury lives in my village on Anglesey and it does not seem to have affected the property prices here. I doubt anyone has raised the subject with him though
