It was almost inevitable given the haircut announced on 4 May. Less people will be reinvesting and that's where the RYI funds come from.

or one would hope they lend more?? To skip back a post, I have a strange feeling there is not a large socially distanced queue of new investors banging (presumably with increasingly longer sticks?) on the door to join RS currently. So yes arguably in the 'common good' they should lend more, obviously with great caution that it is lent well.

probably true. if not 100%. but ultimately better to drop feed releases and lend vs release asap and the guys at the back at screwed. I do think 800k a day or so is a fair volume given current conditions.i would rather they lend to bolster the provision fund too.

Good evening all. Today we have delivered £0.4m and the full update is below. Am I right to be concerned that the last 3 weeks have shown the lowest amounts of money released? There is generally fewer repayments at this point of the month, fewer repayments means less money for RYI's, it'll be a good to keep an eye on for the start of next month to see whether they RYI amounts go back up to £4.5m or keep at a lower level like they have done over the past couple of weeks.

ok but this compares to how much is currently in the release queue?
I trust you to give me an honest answer and not deny what is a very simple and reasonable question
I thank you

why ask what they won't give... I would call them if you want greater detail and push them for info. they won't reply to a public forum for that

Done that, repeatedly phoned and communicated via private message to RS rep here..... I have every sympathy for the refusal to answer but still feel we are in sinking ship mode.....

that is valid then. what I would ask is what is the number relative to?. the peak or ever since. given a cancel now is hardly relative to the panic of the start and so perhaps shouldn't count. they won't give it as it tells you the gravity of it all but i would argue the value needs to be attributed to a relevant value and not a random value which they could dictate the story on.

A 'straight' answer out of RS? RS don't do anything (straight)forward hence the mess they've gotten themselves in with irate investors...
Anymore of these pertinent, probing questions and you my lad will be sent to the back of the queue..

I wonder, when they say £18.6m cancelled, does this also include people who had RYI'd say 50% of their holdings, but then they cancelled that because they wanted to sell 100%? Who knows.... its rather like them boasting of 84,000 investors, there would be far fewer if we could get our money out!

I suspect they round up every penny into this total and use that as the number
