I also stayed away from this one because of the 10% interest rate. Am I reading the above messages correctly to conclude that the loan became available for investment at about 1213 and was completely funded by 1221? Did anyone notice how much of the £35k was taken by rollover investments and how much was available for investment today? No Mike, it didn't fund that quickly. I logged in to look a couple of hours after it was reported here to have gone live and it was only about 90% full.

Yes it did start around 12.15, or a few minutes after, but it was around for a few hours until it filled. Not sure how much was taken by rollovers because I didn't see it as soon as it came live, but I think there was about £11k still available shortly after it was put up. But there was no restriction on lending limits so the system wouldn't have been too stressed.

Complete funding was not achieved until late afternoon, between then (and I only looked in a few times) I would describe the funding rate as steady falling to slow.

Todays auction seems to have gone relatively well That's good news. I managed to forget about it today, although there isn't much money in my account so not missed much

happened to me very briefly. The system recovered and my bid was placed. You might want to try again.

My bid was placed despite the message.
I was trying a bid increase having already placed a bid.
Better, but still a bit of a way to go!

I was trying a bid increase having already placed a bid. alison: Were you successful with your bid increase? With the old system, once you had made one bid you weren't given a chance to make a second bid even if the first bid wasn't as much as the maximum permitted. If that's possible now, that's an improvement. I saw no evidence of any problem this afternoon. There were a lot of investments made as soon as the new loan became available, and it seemed to reach 60+% funded within about five minutes. Activity then slowed considerably, and it was something like 20-30 minutes later that the final bit was funded. fundingsecure: One feature that seems to have disappeared with the new system/website was the Message service. Is this a permanent loss, or is it hoped that messaging can be re-enabled? Has the archive of old messages been lost forever?

Yes the increase worked and added to my original bid and only displayed the total of the two. I put my initial bid in as soon as the loan came on. Response time was a bit slow - about 20-25 seconds till it was accepted. A couple of minutes later I tried adding a little bit more and got these error messages............... Cannot connect to database: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Cannot assign requested address Fatal error: Call to a member function prepare() on a non-object in /home/funding/public_html/files/functions.php on line 358 After backspacing 2 screens I got the normal page pack and it showed my updated bid total. So much better than the old system and much better than mark 1 release of the new system, but still not up to Amazon Black Friday standards!! I also tried the Live Help facility and it worked ok - someone called Nigel this time I think.

Yes, it worked well for me and I was there in the first 2 mins for the bun fight.. Like Bagman I was an early player and had no issues placing my bid. I think they have managed to deal with the original problem but suspect they will continue to test the system by announcing auction times until everything is resolved I don't think the time announcement is a temporary thing - they used to do it and only stopped because the old site just couldn't cope with any more than a mere handful of lenders trying to access at the same time. Now that the new site appears to cope I expect they will be back to always announcing the main loans - they don't announce the really tiny ones even by email.

It saves having to constantly check if the auction has gone live. I see tomorrows loan is the trusty caravan, which I think I'll give a miss Agreed - you needed time on your hands without the timed announcements. At least this way if you're going to not be around then so be it. If you are then all well and good.
