ablrate isn't it annoying when a Company itself sets an expectation in communications, fails to meet it and also fails to communicate any delay? No longer annoying. It's normal here. Could be another day or another month. The following means that they wish to draw down soon but will try to stimulate a bit more cash first:
' and expect this loan to draw down on Monday 19th October. If you have not yet had the opportunity to invest in this loan or do now wish to make a further investment, please do so by noon on Monday.'
We pay our own instant returns and the fees, subtracted from the advance, and so the borrower is only interested in the size of the monthly repayments.

This is somewhat irritating. I cancelled a couple of FW orders to release some cash for this, taking ablrate at their word about the noon deadline yesterday.
You live and learn.

It's now closed to new investment. Is that a good sign?

It's now closed to new investment. Is that a good sign? Preparing for drawdown presumably ... at last!

ablrate I know that your hands are quite busy with a number of things at the moment, but it'd be great to have an update as to what is the plan for this loan. Given the extended period this loan is taking to draw down, there will be some who by now might be expecting to to be able to take a monthly income from this investment, but who still can't. There are also a number of related loans which are restricted to par as settlement figures have been requested (presumably, in some way connected to the drawdown of this loan). Perhaps if we had a bit more clarity the par restriction could be lifted on those loan, and some lenders may be encouraged to invest more in this loan. there isn't a par restriction on these loans in the new ASMX - or at least there wasn't yesterday when I looked. We can restrict the price if needed, i.e in deliquency, early settlement etc. What is now automatic is the restriction on negative yeilds. So the system will not allow offers where the buyer could 'buy' a loss.

7.55% instant returns. Very nice. This is one of the things that rarely gets mentioned about Ablrate... all the cashbacks and those kind deals get all the press... but IR was designed to make sure there was no cash drag when you bid... this is a classic example of that. I appreciate that 'Instant' may be misnomer here... but it demostrates an inovation that no other platform has copied.. I believe... wonder why?

Col, FS, MT and Lendy had IRs, but these are no longer available for investment I think Rebs are also doing this in some form. IR is a great thing for investors and probably less withdrawals for you to process.
