I note that investors are now identified by their Christian name in the Q&A rather than being anonymous or at least a pseudonym. I've just raised this with AC via Livechat, because - as well as that - there's a mix of Christian names on all posts raised by a lender (not just new ones) but their screen name is in the text from whenever in the past another lender said "Following up on the point raised by <screen name>, I'd like to ask..."
Hence <screen name> can be tied up with Christian name. Clearly not full disclosure of <screen name> vs full name, but a start.

Chris, can you explain how instructions are processed, in particular in what order, and how long a cycle takes (ie if I have a buy order on something with plenty of availability then what is the range of times during which it will be processed)

"I have already had a response regarding your feedback.
Display name as a concept has been phased out for a long time now. There wasn't a way to specify your display name as part of registration and there wasn't a way to change it in the old dashboard. Given this, using first name instead of display name seemed to make more sense given the issue raised was that investors wanted to search for their Q&A. Alternative solution is to show full name but some people might not be comfortable with that so we just went with 1st for now."

Err, not only might some people not be comfortable with it, it might well be a data protection breach. And that's something I WOULD be making a formal complaint about !

At no point in the T&Cs does it mention disclosing personal details to other lenders.

cb25: Privacy Notice 10.5 says "You have the right to request the restriction or suppression of your personal data." - and I AM hereby formally requesting AC to STOP disclosing any of my personal data. That document says AC have one month in which to respond. My email is XXX. (For info, BBB emailed me after our LiveChat this morning and the email shows the disclosure was a deliberate act by AC). As you say, suggest Compliance get on it ASAP.
SSS: Thank you cb25, I will pass your comments along for you now. As stated, we're on this and it is marked as Urgent.

Yep, emailed DPO and submitted compliant, contacting ICO next.
Just a quick peruse of the loans I'm invested in reveals a lenders full name and their company name.

Well in the spirit of two steps forward, one step back … after the back step with the names, moving forward again the loan list has been almost fixed. Almost fits on the page now, just the note column that isn't visible now. I can live with that.

Hmm, Doesn't seem to be running at all now... They're probably rolling back the last set of ill thought out and untested changes as we speak.
