This is a strange one. Its only started this morning.
Im viewing this forum via the Edge browser but every time I open it, within a short space of time im receiving an offer, supposedly from BT to claim a free gift...is anyone else getting this ?...it does not appear if I use Edge to view other sites...bank...email...etc..Pro Boards is a secure (lock sign displayed) site..has it been compromised ? It is not affecting my Chrome browser. I have copied and saved the source address to a sticky note but I wont put it here
p.s..ive scanned my system with Malwarebytes (nothing found) and erased my browsing history

I am using Chrome browser. I knew straight away it was dodgy because I'm not a BT customer. It does look quite convincing though, and I suspect some people will be fooled into giving their bank details.

Excellent..its not just me then..I am a BT customer..and you're right..it does look convincing. I forgot I was using edge (I generally use Chrome to access BT) and so initially started to select the options..but then realised "it was too good to be true"..and didn't get to the point of revealing details. I found that the pro board page I was on became unnavigable and had to close..I also found that if I reopened the same page in a new tab whilst keeping the original frozen/unnavigable page open in the backround (as im doing now) it doesn't appear. Thanks for confirming I haven't completely lost the plot..yet

Thanks for confirming..so it affects both Edge & Chrome..does that mean gremlins on Pro Boards ?...I might see if I can get hold of them.
