Posted in general chat, 'This morning I was looking at my Ratesetter account and wondering how/if I should withdraw some money. To my surprise, my certificate of interest for 2019/20 was available to download."

Why is this surprising or noteworthy?

I think last year we didn't actually get them until about June or something. It took ages.

I see that FC and AC have been similarly quick. If I were being really optimistic I might imagine that someone had had a word with them ...

Don't know about FC but AFAIR AC tax statement is always available, along with many other platforms, on a rolling basis as its generated automatically on current data. P2P streaks ahead of mainstream financial institutions on that front. I expect the majority of my platforms will be sorted already, probably take until July to get the mainstream stuff.
