I would imagine that falsifying communications from Ratesetter is the sort of thing that people get sued for All my moneys tied up In Ratesetter, not sure that would work out well.

In an attempt at charting the RYI progress now we have been given helpful reference numbers I've logged the following table from information supplied. Of course the amount would also assist, but I think the numbers give a guide at least. My 5 year RYI is still not displayed so I spoke to RS this morning and there was (an inadvertent) indication that they are currently ploughing through the requests from the 11th presumably in the Access markets. I have put an optimistic repaid date column in so do report back when your funds arrive. I'll also add any more at intervals if you report them in this thread.
Of course, now RS will know who I am (if they don't already) Got 3 more for you early in the Access queue: Access 11/3/20 11am-1pm (ish) ref 373071 & 373077 & 373085 Haven’t seen anything come through as of 16:06 on 14th April.

Hi All,
I made three requests:
376099 - Access - 15/03/2020 376100 - 1 Yr - 15/03/2020 376101 - 5 Yr - 15/03/2020
Yesterday (15/04) about noon my 5 Yr was fully released.
I'm surprised as I assumed the access would be the first to release. My rates on the 5Yr were reasonably high (lowest was about 5.8% I recall, and average of 6.1% across about £15k), so perhaps that helped.

hooky - happy to give you your first like - even though the queue numbers are consecutive, each investment type appears to be maturing independently and so as others have said, it is difficult to know where you are with your own investments and why posts like yours are so important. We also do not know which RYI requests have been cancelled, which adds to the thick fog. Until RS provide any detail on their updates, we have to continue via this route which is why star dust started this. star dust - I assume you are happy according to you 5yr listing on page 1 Cheers P

I understood the requests were being processed in chronological order, but the reference number of hooky's 5yr request is later than many others in the list, including at least two other requests in the same 5yr market. That's a bit odd isn't it?

Whilst the exact mechanics are shrouded in mystery, what's not mysterious is that the average 5-year rate is substantially higher than the average access rate. Also, the 1.5% early release fee from the 5 year market is substantially higher than the 0% fee on Access. If you were RS, which debt would you rather be rid of first? The 5.8% p.a. one with the juicy 1.5% cashback, or the 3% one? That's all well and good, and anything that helps RS tip the balance in the books has to be better for the platforms chances of being a going concern, of benefit to us all, providing they can keep it up. If they can't, well, I think you'd be justified to be a bit peeved as an "access" investor having their funds stuck whilst the 'long term' investor released. Hopefully, it won't come to that! edit: Just to be clear, with the limited information we have, I'd say they're probably doing the right thing. It's just a compromise for which the access investors are taking the risk over 5 year.

Some welcome news, that my £10.000 1 year (4.8%) due for repayment on the 24th April was paid back early, today! It is now winging its way to my bank....
I presume my request/draw down of the 17th March from the 1 year will be the full specified sum in addition........?

Yes, I believe so, unless it exceeds the remaining balance obviously.

There was a post on another thread saying a 5 year request on morning of 14/3/20, was released early evening 8/4/20. Today's 15/3/20 5 year release appears in line, except for 'star dust' request. My 5 year requests on 16/3/20 has a maximum of 4 years left, with an average of 18 months, so perhaps that causes a problem for subsequent lender mix of loans. However, at an average of 6.2% & with 1.5% fees, it makes it more lucrative for Ratesetter to move it quicker. Yes, just found it BrianC 's, there is also closetotheedge 's 5 year requests on the 12 th (or possibly the 13 th), I'd missed their earlier post where they mentioned they'd got their 5 year funds returned. My average rate is 6.3%, it wasn't for the whole 'book', but not far off it, and that's the one that doesn't show on my screen, but I have written confirmation from RateSetter that it is in the queue for that date and time.
