Obviously which slice of any project's total amount available to borrow each of us are allocated via AutoInvest depends on a multitude of factors.
However, I want to optimise my amount to how much money I have available and so have been looking into previous loans. Unfortunately I can't work out the average ratio I am allocated to loans versus my maximum pledged amount because I have regularly changed the "Maximum AutoInvest Pledge Size" figure in my account depending on how much money I have left in my kitty I can loan out.
However, off the top of my head, I'm guestimating I've received between approximately 45% and 80% of the sum I put in my "Maximum AutoInvest Pledge Size".
I'm curious to know what average ratio of your "Maximum AutoInvest Pledge Size" do you reckon you get invested into loans?
Also, in terms of CP's algorithms, is the amount of money you enter in this box spread evenly across, say, the next six loans e.g. if you put £6k in that box it will try to give you a £1k allocation for each of the next six loans?
Cheers and have a good bank holiday weekend.

The way the AutoInvest algorithm works is that they try and give you your maximum pledge size in each loan until your available cash goes below £50 (the current minimum AutoInvest amount). If the demand for AutoInvest loans is higher than they have allocated for AutoInvest in a particular loan then each pledge will be scaled back by the same percentage. E.g. if they've assigned £60,000 for AutoInvest in a loan and there are pledges for £100,000, then everyone gets 60% off their maximum pledge size. From memory, I've been allocated between 35.5% and 100% of my maximum pledge size. This obviously varies greatly depending on supply and demand. You might find this AutoInvest thread useful.

Thanks very much indeed. Anybody else in terms of the ratio of their maximum pledge size they are typically allocated in recent weeks?

My experience has been similar to Ace's except that my lower allocation level has been just below 25%.
I'm expecting the next two % allocations to be low because they are relatively small loans. It will be especially interesting to see what the allocation will be for the third loan next week. It's the biggest of the three, plus, my past experience suggests that when there are three (or more) loans in a week then the last one tends to get a bigger %. If that's true (and my study of this is nothing more than back of an envelope) then I surmise that it's because investors have run out of pledge money by the time the last one comes along so that those who are still in the game get a bigger allocation. We'll see.

It seems that recent allocations in a loan can be approximated:-
Allocation ~= .001*Loan Size(hundreds of thousands)*Maximum AutoInvest Pledge Size
e.g. a Maximum of £500 for a loan of £500K would allocate about £250
