I would hope both buyers and sellers would be able to set their own levels yup. Not quite understanding why its taking sooooo long to implement though. Its already Wednesday of ‘next week’ and we have no detail on the market workings and repayments are halted! If I were more cynical, I might think this was a convenient way to get investors to have a decent amount of cash sitting in their accounts so they might be a little more tempted to buy in the secondary market if there are some nice discounts... Good thing I’m not so cynical

I'm not sure I want to sell my Access holdings to RateSetter refugees. Do we know if we can charge a premium?

With the way the stock market and savings market interest rates are looking (up and down respectively), and by the time AC actually implement the facility, the book will COMMAND a premium!

And were are those wanting to flee AC going to next I wonder?
Who's still got their doors open to new lenders and can be trusted to keep those doors open?

That is the million dollar question........? I personally think assets wont go down as a platform, and as a lender will have to stand more risk for less reward (estimate 25/50 worse off). also there lender info and treatment of lenders is getting a little taxing. I / we Shouldn't have to go hunting the interweb for platform info/ news.

Yep, announcing an interest rate change five days after it occurred.
Think we worked that one out already, thanks!

Ablrate, if you want p2p in its purest and simplest form, and a good SM which has worked through the current unpleasantness. You have to be responsible for your choice of loans - because that alone determines your returns and liquidity.

Basic question: If try to sell all my QAA, do the dud loans sell as well? The implication from the two emails we've just got is that they do. The discount is very much dependent on how you view the dud loans.

Basic question: If try to sell all my QAA, do the dud loans sell as well? The implication from the two emails we've just got is that they do. The discount is very much dependent on how you view the dud loans. Yes, you're trading in "units" of QAA, encompassing everything the QAA holds (live loans, defaulted loans, cash and PF entitlement). If you sell 100% of your QAA holding then your QAA balance goes to zero.
