Just wondering if anyone has experience with Bitcoin or any of the other cryptocurrencies?
With interest rates at almost zero & P2P struggling to come out of the current Covid crisis I thought it might be worth investing in some coin. £7,513 will buy you one Bitcoin today. One Bitcoin could be purchased for £4,436 on 18th March, 2020.

I have a tiny amount in my portfolio (<0.1% depending on how one calculates one's portfolio) mainly as a bit of froth and diversification but also as a hedge in case all currencies go into post-COVID freefall and Bitcoin/Ether have a massive appreciation. I would only put in what you are OK losing in its entirety very rapidly. It could be worth a tenth of its current value (or less) tomorrow.
