Looking at the repayment on #314 today and couldn't help notice that nearly a quarter is gobbled by the AC Monitoring Fee.
Now I'm sure lots of work has gone into sorting this mess out since 2017 but that's a lot of money not going back to investors and they have suffered too. I'm not planning to get uppity about it unless it appears AC is sitting back and only half heartedly chasing the PG for the outstanding amount.
Full marks for showing the Monitoring Fee, it's this sort of unbiased visibility that keeps me rooting for AC. Hopefully all will end well but if it doesn't this feels like a bitter pill to swallow for investors.

Look at #549 !
Monitoring fee does vary widely and doesn't seem to directly correlate with risk category or workload.
Empirically I'd say they have increased the fees on more recently issued loans compared to earlier ones.

I'm probably missing something, but why is the capital valuation of this one just 2.33%?
It's not one I've been following but the update from 10/06 seems to suggest that an offer has been accepted on the security, and as recently as April 2020 the capital valuation was 61%. Then it was lowered to <2.5% 2 weeks ago.
The only activity inbetween seems to be a reduction in price of just over 10%, but I don't see why that would have obliterated the capital valuation?

Think the 10/6 update was late as the proceeds of the property were distributed on 15/6. As such there is no security remaining and only a small amount of funds due to come from the administrators. This is evidenced in the update disclosing the capital revaluation.
