A new Month and still no signs of any interest to us the public , the people who have supported the platform and loans Considering an investment manager has acquired this company I’m fed up with giving them a 0% loan , oh and them being able to take 2% of that !

I wonder when we will hear the plans regarding the end of the normalisation period. I do think communication from LW has been really poor.
I think even with the end of the normalisation period it is extremely unlikely we will see any interest at all this year. I have been / am really disappointed with LW.

I think the normalisation period will end 6 months after they find the cure to covid 19. I totally agree - the communication from customer service at LW has been appalling. During the pandemic, I have had to contact them constantly to find out what is going on and then their updates have on occasions never provided the full story. In the light of current times, P2P is being seen in a new light and the providers need to demonstrate they have their investors best interests in mind

I agree. After getting the opportunity to bail out in January and for free tail end of 2019, I deeply regret staying with LW. It's going to take ages to recover all my investment (fingers crossed)and for absolutely no gain. Lessons learned.

Yes, big lessons learned!
This is the first real big crisis for the P2P sector (it wasn't as developed in 2008) and I think it has conducted itself appallingly. It comes across as an amateur and wayward financial sector. I thought the banks were bad!
I will have to wait to get all my investment out of LW and then I will be seriously considering whether to invest in the P2P sector again.

The annoying thing is, the LW board seem to have increased , presume the new backers boys, no doubt all drawing a salary whilst investors get not one pence in interest. I'm lucky if I'm getting £30 a week draw down.

I'm lucky if I'm getting £30 a week draw down. I'm getting some repayments every week, which reduced my exposure to LW by about 20% since March this year. Last week I had a more substantial "hand out" looking like an early repayment. Considering the situation, not bad, better than nothing.

It's a shame that the cash will lose its ISA status. I don't want to leave the dribbles of cash on the platform not earning interest, and is not flexible, and not worth paying multiple transfer out fees. EDIT: Sorry, it appears that I was mistaken in thinking there was a transfer out fee.

I didn't think LW did that. Has it changed?

A couple of filings were posted on the Companies House web site today regarding the departure of two non-executive directors (Ishaan Chilkoti and Melanie Goward). Those terminations could be an indication that the "significant investment" is about to complete.

Those terminations could be an indication that the "significant investment" is about to complete. wonder if that's at the full price or if there is some negative interest to be taken out first?
