I hope this isn't another case of "loan cancelled".

The furniture shop is about 2 miles from where I am . 2 new loans within 2 days - not bad. I've got 4 on Quardus now . Great, we'll know who to call on if the payments don't come in 😉. I'm in 9 now. So far the first 6 have all made their repayments on time (or within a couple of days grace). Another is due tomorrow (the coloured water one). Plus the 2 new ones. Correct me if im misremembering, but was there a time when lenders local to loans kept an eye on things?. I know i take advantage of travelto pop and have a nosy.

I'm not sure there's much that can be gleaned from watching this one. Hopefully df will inform us if he notices a closing down sale. I've kept my eye on a couple of local development projects in the past, but I have no knowledge of building, so can't do any more than checking that it exists, is being manned and is making some progress. Actually, that would have made me an expert on some platforms

Same here, just a casual glance to see if the updates match the visual, ie holes dug, windows in, people on site, no (site for auction placards) surprise (AC) cough

I'm guessing somebody pressed the wrong button yesterday then as it is clearly live again now - well judging by the email earlier anyway.
I doubt anybody could have any complaints about the platforms track record to date, but the comment the other day, about one being a possible FC refinance did resonate with the views I have always had on the loans themselves.
Basically unsecured loans to businesses. In the absence of a secondary market in this case probably warranting a fair bit of due diligence. Clearly the loan 'basis' adds a dimension and I am not sure how to evaluate that.
I am fairly tepid on this one just on the three year term and relatively low rate. I might have a more detailed look over the weekend (not seeing it filling that quickly).
The other major downside for those of us not having the 'shooting fish in a barrel' option will clearly be getting any worthwhile diversification.

IMO their least attractive loan to date. I hope that they are not watering down their criteria because they have not been able to satisfy the demand from lenders. We have seen that pattern on other sites and it did not turn out well. Personally I do not mind the lower rate so much provided the security is sound.

With this latest offer being very slow £36,300 up to now, what happens if it doesn't reach the minimum target ? are all offers returned or have they got other means to fund the shortfall.

I've not seen any evidence or mention of underwriters, so it's possible it could get cancelled. However, at the end of the min/max requirement statement it says " or any other agreed amount as confirmed in writing by Qardus to the SME company once the campaign has ended". So the company might just choose to accept what ever has been raised, and possibly try for a second tranche later.

I got an email saying that Qfirst & Qboost end at the end of this month, even though I'm not in either. What does this mean? Will we all get an equal chance of getting some of loans next year?

I think not. I think it's the Boost part of the QFirst Program that's ending. Though I agree that the email reads otherwise. When I was invited to join the QFirst program by investing in Q's equity there was no mention of a time limit on the program. However, the exclusivity period was stated as being 5 days, and has since been reduced to 1 day. In conclusion, I think we'll just have to wait and see, as they appear to be making the rules up as they go along and changing them at will
