Perhaps rashly, I decided to have a go at lending on this platform. Sadly, the platform doesn't seem to want me. I've set up and executed a bank transfer but nothing has shown up in my account after 5 working days. A chasing email (4 working days) has not been responded to and no one is available to take my phone call (just now).
With this kind of approach, it isn't surprising that loans aren't filling!
I'll be looking elsewhere, I think.
I have not added any for a while so may be recalling incorrectly but think investments need a newly generated reference every time. So suspect there is a need to tell them it is coming to generate one. So if you didn't have one it is probably stuck half way.

Correct there is a need to go through the procedure on the platform, which generates a ref which is needed on the bank payment. I have cocked this up early on, Q was quick to respond via e mail (contact us) and fix it. The platform messaging service has always been good with me up until 3 weeks ago, when a query i raised wasn't responded to. (but was action ed). I suggest contact is made to find ur £££.

It is from them not a phish but the survey is probably 3rd party, haven't opened it.

An email (after the survey one) arrived just after 15:00 today confirming that my initial deposit had turned up and had been added to my account. There was no explanation for the long delay and no response to my email about that delay. As I didn't believe the email, I logged in and happily, there was the money (a very small amount intended to verify that I had their banking details correct) in the account.
Rather sadly, the email confirming the deposit says, amongst other things, "... If you have not yet submitted identity documents ...". So Qardus doesn't know... The email also contains other very unclear references.
That decided me - I'll not be proceeding with Qardus. That just leaves one question - how do I get my deposit back? The website won't permit withdrawals unless you contact the "team"... my experience thus far suggests that will be a bit of challenge.

I seem to remember something about not being able to withdraw deposits for 24 hours. "Rather sadly, the email confirming the deposit says, amongst other things, "... The email also contains other very unclear references." is always there as a reminder (standard stuff) and 24 hrs before withdraws. (system will not let you withdrawl when you try and comes up with the contact team message) just wait.....

I remember seeing this message and submitting my ID documents again, which appeared to be unnecessary because they already had them... I've made a number of withdrawals and had no obstacles.

Another update.... My attempts to withdraw funds began with me using the website to send a message to Q. Had to do that as withdrawals seem to need some manual intervention from Q. Somewhat surprisingly, a positive response turned up just under 24 hours from my message. I was able to start the withdrawal process. We'll see if the cash turns up; according to the confirmation screen I might have to wait a while...
So, we know that somebody is onboard at Q; I suspect that they are at the stern rather than the helm but I could be wrong, of course. Don't think I can wangle any more nautical references...
