Just watched the video (might return later for some comments)
I suppose it was probably too much effort but I had assumed there would be a parallel path introduction, rather than a missing in action period.
Still must admit I am a little curious to see it after what seems like years of trailers.
Had not tried to unpick the name before, Ablrate secondary market Xchange?

In what way odd? Are the two in some way related, renaming the secondary market does not alter the working name of ASMX which presumably is an abbreviation of something.

It seemed odd that ABLrate would be promoting ASMX, their shiny new trading platform, and changing the name of its Secondary Market to Loan Exchange if the SMiin ASMX did stand for Secondary Market. Yes they're related in that their new Loan Exchange will be using the ASMX trading platform. To start with ASMX will be just the ABLrate Loan Exchange platform. I'm not saying that you're wrong, just that it seemed a bit odd to me.

Just assumed somebody would tell me.

Whilst it does not solve the acronym, this asmx.io/ might provide an interesting read. LW

Hmmm. The name ASMX was chosen some time ago, and need not be consistent with any current changes, because ASMX is just a name signifying nothing - though I think the X was exchange, and not MX for Merry Xmas. It's a massive challenge: 'Right now we have a functioning trade system, the blockchain side of things is working perfectly the first challenge was always going to be mirroring the massive functionality of Ablrate so that the ASMX secondary technology works just as well and surpasses that of Ablrate’s secondary market.' [Four sentences conjoined] I'm not sure that functionality should be 'massive'. It implies overlarge, slow, unreactive, cumbersome, monolithic. I think of Ablrate's SM (all the time) as comprehensive, nimble, quick, helpful, responsive, though never obscure, cunning or devious. Perhaps 'omnipotent functionality' though that sounds a little bossy. Oh! I've missed lunch!

I knew two heads were better than one (except when buying hats obviously, when it is just twice as expensive) As you very nearly pointed out ASMX is an anagram of Xmas and no other word, that is clearly a clue.

That does sort of eliminate it though, back to the doodling board with sharp crayons then.

A lot of our family live locally and so we take it in turns to host Xmas. This year it should be our turn. Sadly every permutation of our family sub groups will be more than 6 bodies (all adults no kids) so I might be raising the drawbridge at Whitenap Towers and staying in bed with a large bag of humbugs to share with his lordship!

Something tells me I should be worried that I didn't even have to think about that one. Should a misshapen frog like yourself not be busier chasing a short sighted Princess than a Lady?

LW Hopefully this time next year things may be more normal, will be hard for a lot of people this year I fear. Go large get two bags of humbugs. I often wished I had a drawbridge to stop the constant revolving door of people coming here in the past but its like a ghost town now and I want it back. Luckily I have a fairly big garden and have put some shelters up for guests but its getting a bit cold for even that now. The old saying about never wanting a drink of water till the well runs dry I guess.
