My father has around £6 left in his access account. I recall reading somewhere something about RS may liquidate this type of amount. Was I imagining or is this possible? Thanks.

Why should someone be allowed to jump the queue just because its a small amount? They wouldn't be jumping the queue. They've already reached the end. It's just that when you get there RS let you sell all of your loans that have over £10 capital remaining, but for some odd reason, they don't let you sell any that have less than £10 left. So you're left with a rump of tiny loans that you can't sell.

My MRS has 39p left on her Access, but "money on loan" displays "no money on loan" so there is no withdrawal option for this 39p. Very strange.

Ask them or add 61 pence and withdraw it.

Crikey, times are harder than I thought. £6 pounds... 39 pence... 61 pence....
Warren Buffet can sleep easily then.
Only joshing 😂.
Since PayPal announced their account dormancy fee this week, my missus has withdrawn £6 from her account, leaving behind the grand sum of 6 pence. We'll just let them keep that... we feel magnanimous this week. 😁

In my experience, loans in A/P/M with a present value lower than £10 don't "roll over" on the next borrower repayment, so those would be available within a month for an amortising loan. The time you might potentially be "stuck" with a £6 loan would be if it was the last £6 matched from a larger offer, and for a non-amortising loan.
